This weekend’s drop is fully inspired by Father’s Day weekend and we decided every fabric in the collection needed a dad joke name.

Are the jokes good? That depends who you ask. Are the fabrics good? Absolutely.

We added a fresh mix of new fabrics to the New Arrivals collection, including colourful knits, beautiful wovens, bold prints, bright solids, soft textures, and the kind of fabric that makes you immediately start mentally rearranging your project queue.

Go have a look through the new drop, enjoy the terrible names, and maybe find the fabric your next project has been waiting for.

We just added a beautiful new collection of lace trims, and this one is such a treat to browse.

There are delicate vintage trims, narrow little edges, wider statement pieces, scallops, embroidered details, soft lace, dramatic lace, sweet lace, and so many interesting shapes and widths.

These are the pieces that can completely change a cuff, a hem, a sleeve, a sock edge, a neckline, a pocket, a bag, a quilt, a costume, a repair, or a refashion.

Just that small edge of something special.

Even if lace trim is not usually your thing, this collection is really worth a look. Some of these trims are so beautiful, and so hard to find, and they add so much personality without needing much at all.

The new Lace Trim Collection is now live.

Not all knits want to become the same thing.

Some knits are soft and drapey and want to become flowy tops, dresses, loose tanks, and pieces that move.

Some knits have good recovery and want to become fitted tees, leggings, un**es, cuffs, bands, and anything that needs to stretch and then come back.

Some knits are thick and stable and are basically saying, “Please make me into a sweatshirt, cardigan, joggers, or cozy layer.”

That’s the fun part of sewing with knits. You’re not just choosing a print or colour. You’re choosing how the fabric behaves on the body.

This weekend, we pulled together a fresh deadstock knit collection with solids, prints, soft basics, and some very fun finds.

New Arrivals is where the stretchy stuff is living right now.

Go have a browse and see what kind of knit is calling your name.

One of our favourite things to make with knits?

Undergarments.

We love practical projects, things that useful, wearable, and a really good way to play with smaller pieces of fabric.

A little stretch knit can become un**es, bralettes, camisoles, soft tanks, kids’ basics, binding, gussets, cuffs, linings, little comfort layers, all the things that don’t need a giant yardage commitment.

This weekend’s drop is full of deadstock knits, and yes, some of them are absolutely asking to become something soft and stretchy and worn constantly.

The knit collection is now live in New Arrivals.

Come see what little-but-mighty projects you can dream up.

A lot of people are scared of sewing knits, but most of us wear knits almost every single day.

Anything soft and stretchy that quietly becomes your favourite thing.

Knits can feel intimidating at first because they move, stretch, curl, bounce back, sometimes grow, sometimes behave beautifully, and sometimes act like they have plans of their own.

But once you get the hang of them, they open up a whole new sewing world.

This weekend’s drop is a very good excuse to try.

We pulled together a collection of deadstock knits in solids, prints, and fun stretchy styles, perfect for experimenting, practicing, or finally making that comfy thing you keep putting off.

The knit drop is now live in New Arrivals.

This weekend, we’re soaking up the sun and bringing on the knits! 💕

Take out your sergers, your zigzag stitches, and your best stretchy-project ideas because we pulled together a really good knit drop for you.

We went through the deadstock fabrics that have come into the studio lately and picked out some of our favourite knits: solids, prints, soft ones, funky ones, comfy ones, and all kinds of stretch.

If you already sew with knits, you’ll love this drop.

And if you’ve never sewn with knits before, this is a very good little excuse to experiment. Knits are great for comfy basics, easy tanks, fitted tops, lounge pieces, kids’ clothes, dresses, un**es, leggings, and all the stretchy things your creative mind can dream up.

The new knit collection is now live in New Arrivals.

Come have a browse and see what project starts talking to you.
