Our hometown of Vancouver has lost a great man. Tim Jones, the leader of North Shore Rescue passed away suddenly yesterday. A true hero who selflessly dedicated his life to keeping the great outdoors safe and rescuing those who found themselves in danger. Thank you for your service and dedication to our community, you won't be soon forgotten.

Tim Jones, a team leader of North Shore Rescue died on Mount Seymour Sunday night, a member of the group wrote on its page.
