Happy Saturday and happy long weekend to my BC friends 🤍.

This post is a long time in coming, as I have been a lot less active on this page for over a year. I have really evolved as a collector since I started this shop as I dove deeper into the hobby, reading and collecting more raw minerals. While I’ve brought in raw specimens since the beginning of this shop (e.g. danburite, lavender creedite, those amazing tricoloured Mexican sugar calcites, etc), I’ve always struggled a bit as polished crystals sell consistently better, and the specimens that make me the most excited are the ones I have the most trouble finding homes for.

I took a big step away as things started changing in IG land, and if I had to pour more energy and creativity into my labour with less return, I wanted to be in the arena as my most authentic self. I have a lot of remaining inventory of jasper, pink amethyst, star rose quartz, etc., that while beautiful, no longer align with the kind of art I want to offer. I’ve been putting off trying out solutions for a long time because of transitions in my personal life as well, and I’ve been postponing by selling vintage crystal display decor that I’ve sourced over the years (the vintage/antique market scene here is way more expensive and less plentiful than anywhere in the US, so sourcing is generally a slow and unpredictable process as I only bring in what I know I can sell at a still affordable price).

That is all to say, I haven’t made any final decisions on whether to rebrand or close the shop, or have a bunch of sales before closing the shop. In terms of how my personal life has been, there has been ongoing extended family drama, chronic (and acute) pain flare ups (and genetic predispositions to illnesses I should probably be more on top of), and last and definitely not least, accomplishing one of my career goals by becoming the supervisor to the wonderful and amazing team of social workers I have been part of for the last 5 years.

I hope to have some smaller story sales coming up, firstly of vintage brass and glass pieces for crystal displays. Thank you so much for being part of the community and for reading all of this 🥺.

🧚🏼‍♂️ It has been a long week and my brain isn’t very good at coming up with witty captions. 🥺

I want to note that the original unpainted faeries have iridescent glitter on them that is part of their design. Unfortunately with the painting there was no way to keep this (and impractical to attempt to scrape it all off). There will be some texture on the figurine because of the painted over sparkles.

The wings are also detachable (you can hook them on in the back, or take them off as you wish). They are metal (different material than the figurines themselves).

My periwinkle quartz sphere is 110mm, and I’ve tested the stand out on spheres 100-120mm and it holds up well! You can kind of see me in the reflection of the sphere in both pictures 😂.

I hope everyone is having a nice week. Mine has been a bit rough so far but at least I have Friday off before this sale 🩵🥹.

This is the last day of previews before the sale. There is one more one of a kind sphere stand I haven’t shown yet, but it is a much smaller sale with 7 items total.

I’m in awe of how this one turned out!

The details on the figurine almost seem emphasized when all in gold! I love the delicate folds and the tiny cherry blossom details on her dress 🌸.

This is the last time I’ll have these for sale. This is the only one of this style that I decided to paint gold. I sourced them locally earlier this year from someone who was in the middle of an urgent move and used to own a business selling faerie and medieval collectibles. I’m grateful they spared me some time to go digging through what they had left while they were busy with their move, and hopefully I was able to help out a bit with what they had the bring with them to their new home. 🧚🏼

On gossamer wings…🦋🪽

Let me tell you, it was a pity to have to paint some of these as the wings alone are so pretty! However I don’t regret my decision and you’ll see why once I preview the painted ones 🥰.

P.S. I have 2 of this design in its original paint, and one painted gold. Perfect for sphere sizes 45mm-65mm 🩷.

I’ll set a countdown in my story for those who prefer to be reminded that way 😊.

I’m so excited to finally share these ethereal faerie sphere holders with you! It has been a long month with some personal health things I have been muddling through. I am now day 1 of being relatively pain free 🥹.

This is the only faerie of this style I have available that is unpainted. It was almost a 50/50 split when I polled about whether people preferred gold or the original colours, but in the end there was only one that I thought had an adequate original paint job 😅. She looks soooo whimsical as a vessel for palmstone/smaller spheres or a statement sphere holder!

She will be available along with 2 of her gold-painted sisters on Friday at 4pm pst. More previews to come throughout the week - don’t forget to set a reminder on this post! 🧚🏼

For my gold lovers, here are close ups of some of the gold pieces available for tonight’s Secret Garden story sale!

Many of these sphere stands (except the second slide) are painted gold and look so beautiful with all shades of rose quartz!

Are you ready for your close-up? 📸

Here’s a sphere stand for the silver lovers, and one that I wish to immortalize on my feed forever! If I didn’t already have another similar one I would’ve kept this one 🥲😂. In other bits of news it’ll be a small-ish launch with 12 items, prices ranging from high 10s-60s.

It took me a while to figure out whether to use photo 1 or 2 as the cover image!

🌹 𝑅𝑜𝓈𝑒𝓈 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝐵𝓊𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇𝒻𝓁𝒾𝑒𝓈 🦋

For those of you who also love or prefer silver, here’s the piece for you! This beautiful silver bowl has so many intricate floral and butterfly details. The combination of roses and butterflies symbolizes transformation and growth that occurs out of love. 𝒮𝑒𝒸𝓇𝑒𝓉 𝒢𝒶𝓇𝒹𝑒𝓃 🦋 🌿

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve last posted! I didn’t plan on taking this hiatus but had to take a step back so I can focus on one thing at a time. There were a handful of medical tests I needed to get done and now that they’re (mostly) over, let’s celebrate by hosting another sale!

This collection has been a long time in the making. Over the past year I’ve collected items that speak of my love for butterflies and roses. Some of the sphere stands in this collection are my first attempts at repurposing so they’re not perfect and are therefore very affordable!

What is an isis face?

Isis is the Egyptian Goddess of the moon, life, and magic. An “isis face” in crystals is when there is at least one termination face with 5 sides. 4 of the sides represent the ancient “elements” of water, air, fire, and earth, while the 5th face represents humankind. In terms of crystal healing, spiritual practitioners believe that isis face crystals help with balancing and integrating the 4 elements in our lives.

Personally I’m in love with isis faces in crystals purely for the joy of finding something that I’ve been told is fairly uncommon in single points!

One of my dreams is to be able to have quartz in all sorts of habits: dauphiné, tessin, muzo, etc. and to know why they’re special!

Does anyone else think that the phantoms in pink lithium quartz look like lipstick? 💄

That was one of my first thoughts seeing pink lithium quartz!

As far as lipstick shades go this one is a beige-y mauve and has a well-defined phantom 👻.

One more 💄 to introduce and I’ll preview the other goodies on our live table for Friday April 15th at 1pm pst 🥰.
