Rez Candy Shoppe just wrapped up another 7-week workshop with the ladies at the YWCA ✨

This time we switched things up and made boho bags, coin purses, and sunglass pouches—and it was so fun trying something new together and seeing everyone’s creations come to life.

I’m really grateful for these workshops and the chance to create in such a welcoming space 💛

12 years ago I made my very first skirt… and honestly, I had no idea what I was starting 🧵✨
A memory popped up today, so I went down the rabbit hole and counted every skirt I’ve posted on here — 152 😳 (and that’s probably not even all of them).
So if my math is mathing… that means I made one 12 years ago… and apparently 151 in the last 5 years 😂
Safe to say something clicked along the way.
Grateful for every single one — the learning curves, the late nights, the “what was I thinking” moments, and the pieces that turned into something really special.

As many of you know, I often get bored of what I’m doing, so I switch it up—and quilting is something I’ve completely fallen in love with.

This is only my second quilt ever. I started it for myself—pink and purple are some of my favorite colors—but before I was even finished… it sold.

A friend once told me during a time of struggle that not only am I beautiful, but I also bring beautiful things into the world. I think about that a lot when I’m making pieces like this.

Bittersweet to let this one go, but I know it’s going to be loved.

Every stitch, every fabric choice, every late night working on it carries a piece of me—and now it gets to carry that into someone else’s space.

Some skirts seem to dance before they’re even worn, every ribbon, every layer carrying love, life, and intention in every stitch.

This skirt features bright blossoms on deep blue fabric, with layered ribbons in pink, purple, and blue flowing across like sky meeting water. Ribbon fringe along the sides adds extra movement and a playful touch.

Made with a soft paper bag waist and my first adjustable ribbon waist, threaded through buttonholes, so the skirt can be tied to flow perfectly with the wearer’s movement.
