Vancouver’s downtown may look a little different this year with FIFA World Cup road closures, but Go Skate Day will not be derailed. The crew meets at UBC Skatepark at 12 noon before the usual horde rolls spot to spot around UBC in classic Go Skate Day fashion.
The day wraps with a hill bomb down NW Marine Drive to Spanish Banks, followed by a community BBQ hosted by the Vancouver Skateboard Coalition. Big thanks to Reed Timmins on the megaphone, handing out yellow cards, red cards, and cash for tricks along the way.
