The wildfire smoke is heavy right now, but it isn't keeping us from scouting and doing our job. The smoke should be long gone by the time season comes around, but the animals will remain. For them, this is just a part of their routine.

For those who have stayed with us before, you know that our main bathroom and shower left a little to be desired. We just completed reno of the bathroom, swipe to see our before and after photos!

The old shower with the problematic head was replaced with brand new tile, sliding glass door, and a high-end head. Maybe more importantly, the old sliding (and non-locking) door was replaced with a lock!

What may seem like a small change on the surface will have a big impact when we have a full camp again in a few months. Can't wait to welcome our first fall hunters of 2026!

Our camp is nestled in the heart of Northern Alberta's vast expanse of wilderness. Closely situated to town if you need any necessities, but plenty far from any major city and the people that come with it.

Our area is known to be incredibly animal dense, and not people dense, the perfect combo for what we do.

At our camp you'll have all the amenities of home - 3 hot meals, showers, wifi, TV, laundry, clean sheets, and real beds. The only thing you will have to worry about is shooting straight!

We are pretty lucky to live where we live and do what we do!

This shot is from our fall moose season when Dusty | travel + adventure and Victor Aerden joined us to do some filming for Travel AB. As we told them when they joined us, we can't guarantee that we will be successful (it's called hunting, not killing), but we can guarantee that you'll see some amazing things and have a ton of fun along the way!

Pictured here is a beautiful colour-phase archery black bear taken during our last week of hosting hunters this season.

Our archery success rates are identical, and sometimes higher than our rifle success rates for bear season, because we get you so close that sometimes a rifle scope does more harm than good!

We are proud to say that we have over 100% success rates on all of our bear hunts, which I am sure you've heard before. How do we come to that number?

Each hunter has two bear tags in their pocket, and most hunters shoot two bears. Every hunter shoots one, that has never been an issue, and usually takes the rest of the hunt to hold out for a larger one. Hence saying that we have greater than 100% success rates - you will get a bear with us on your trip!
