They say you learn more from the cooks that don’t go according to plan… and today proved it. 😅

Between equipment hiccups, last-minute problem solving, and my mom and doug at The Country Butcher Shop stepping in to save the day, we somehow pulled it off.

Is it perfect? Nope.

Am I proud of our first attempt? Absolutely.

Every cook makes me better, and I’m already looking forward to the next pig on the spit. Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it happen and the opportunity to cook it ❤️🐷🔥
