We did it!!!! In honour of Plastic Free month we have now converted our company on saving the earth and going Plastic Free! We are still the same great Fudge you have grown to love just now instead of all the waste of plastic our fudge will be sold in a wax bag in hopes that we can make just a bit of difference in the amount of plastic waste in our country. On the Plus you now can mix and match all of your favourites in creating your own bag. We’ve thought long and hard about this process and are very excited to be launching it today at The Truro Farmers Market!

ATTENTION ALL FUDGE LOVERS: We are looking for some feedback on trying to go plastic free with our product. Today one of our carriers rolled out a new option for selling our Fudge a and we are wondering if this would work at our regular Farmers Market! Right now we have the option to buy a single piece of Fudge or a six pack which is all served in plastic bags which we as a company are trying to omit. We will have to make an investment to go forward with our new way of selling but are looking for feedback before proceeding. The new way will still be sold as singles and either a buy more save more in 5 or 6 as per usual just now this way you will be able to choose your favourite kinds and mix and match or all the same. Packaging will be switched to parchment paper bags to try and eliminate some of the plastic waste in our business.
So we are looking for some feedback before we move forward! I’m creating a poll so kindly reply to the one of the options!

Check out the new display case at The Earltown General Store. Wow!!!! Sitting top row you will now find our Fudge plastic free there.This will allow the consumers to mix and match all their favourites! If your headed to the cottage make sure to stop in and grab some for your company or just a stash of your own!
