We understand that our livelihood is dependent upon the caring of the land and the environment. We are both life-givers and the caretakers of life. We play a central role in our families as mothers and providers. And we do our best to maintain the knowledge, skills and history of our rich culture. We are also sisters that support each other in our life journey. We help each other attain our life g

oals, both personal and spiritual. As a community, we strive to improve ourselves and the livelihoods of our communities. It is in this spirit that we have developed the Sisterness Trading Post.
