Many have asked about dates for our BLOOMbar by Fête Boutique Floral + Events Holiday Makers Series for 2021.
We always have such a blast holding these at our Leaside Studio. In the midst of Covid last year, it was such a salve to be able to create amongst our community and meet Makers from the young to the young at heart.
I'm happy to announce our initial dates for our Grinch Tree and wreath making workshops. These classes are much in the style of Painter's Lounge in that you design from an example and with initial instructions from one of our talented designers.
In the next day I'll also add some centerpiece design options too.

The pressure was on as this bride came from a flower family. It's always fun to collaborate with clients who know their blooms.
For the next two weeks, we're supporting a teen's budding vintage clothing business by allowing him to host a pop up, retro clothing shop in our studio (Fete Flowers) at 209 McRae Drive.
PTSD for us genuinely of that era but kind of fun for those with tweens/teens.
Trendy and authentic KWay jackets, vintage leather and fur jackets, Run DMC/Theodore Huxtable style sweaters, and 70/80/90s denim.
Apparently, it's a thing amongst the young and fashionable.
So style THAT flock of seagulls 'do and come for the Depeche Mode but stay for the retro fits. 😂

Take a cue from this couple who opted to hold their event in late August last year.
Our top medical officers are cautiously predicting an actually wedding season at that time and later, albeit with small numbers and outdoors.
We love spring blooms but we also can't wait to see cafe au lait dahlias back in our gardens. Paired with anemones, mother of pearl and Tibet roses. 😍

Teardrop style bouquets have been a thing amongst our brides, as of late.
Sweet escimo roses, peach stock, white phals, and creamy vendela, minimal greens.
This one was so sweet. We wrapped the bride's bouquet with a tie from her late father.
T recounted how even though her father was in construction, he had a prolific tie collection. It was only fitting he accompany her down the aisle in this way.
..I may or may not be chopping onions right now...

This November, Fête Floral Studios is happy to announce our Holiday Creators Series at our Midtown Toronto, Leaside studio.
How it works:
Much like Paint Lounge, our Holiday Workshops are structured as "Design at your own pace." You select the item you'd like to design, the studio is yours to create in and you are provided with:
Tools to make your wreath are included including sanitized glue gun, wire, branch cutters
Initial technique instructions and on demand help
Light refreshments of wrapped snacks and bottled drinks
Additional product/material is available for purchase
1.5 hours of design time
Our guests can create and safely socialize in a chill environment. Max. 6 makers at a time
All guests must sign a waiver that they do not exhibit any symptoms of Covid-19
All tools are sanitized in between use (you are welcome to bring your own)
Windows will be open where reasonable and we also run a HEPA filter equipped air purifier.
Work stations are are spaced apart
All guests are required to wear a mask indoors. No exceptions
