Eleven years.
It's hard to believe eleven years have passed since we opened our doors at Drift. We're incredibly proud of where we started, thrilled with the shop that we’ve made, and incredibly grateful for the people who helped us get here.
To every customer who has walked through our doors, trusted our advice, supported our community, and have made Drift Outfitters your fly shop— thank you. Your support has meant everything to us. You've helped us grow from a small shop ground level modestly socked shop, to a now two-story experience for our customers. With you support we’ve become one of the leading fly shops in Canada. More importantly, you've helped create a community that extends far beyond the walls of our store, and has helped re-ignite the fly fishing scene here in Southern Ontario.
To Drift’s amazing team, both past and present, thank you for bringing your passion, knowledge, and dedication to Drift every single day. Whether they’re helping someone pick out their very first fly rod, sharing a tip, or welcoming customers, you've always made this shop about more than just a place to buy gear. You've created friendships, inspired new adventures, and made every customer feel like they belong.
Over the past eleven years we've grown in ways we couldn't have imagined, but we've never lost sight of why and where we started. Our mission has always been to help people spend more time on the water, to share our love of fly fishing, to build community, and enjoy the incredible experiences that fly fishing brings to all. That purpose continues to guide everything we do.
As we celebrate this milestone, we're filled with excitement for what comes next.
There are many more rivers to explore, more anglers to welcome and inspire, more stories to share, plenty of new ideas we're excited to bring to life, and we have a lot of room to grow.
From all of us at Drift Outfitters & Fly Shop, thank you for being part of the last eleven years. We wouldn't be here without you, and we can't wait to see where the next eleven takes us.
