Ian Drummond has amassed a collection of vintage clothing, footwear, accessories, textiles and ephemera over 30 years. Much of it is dedicated toward rental via the Ian Drummond Collection to film, television, theatre productions, and print publications. The collection runs the gamut from period historical clothing, with a strong focus on the 1920s-1990s and comprises everything from broken-down i

Season 3 of AMC’s Interview With A Vampire series (titled Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat) premiered last night! Who tuned in?

The series filmed last Summer and into the Fall in Toronto. The costume team was lead by designer , and they rented some items from us from different eras for both the cast and background actors. Many thanks to Lex and assistant costume designer Jenn Lantz , as well as costume supervisor Patricia Boulden. Can’t wait to watch!

Ian talks about his time working as the BG costume coordinator on Hairspray (2007) with costume designer Rita Ryack. It was one of the most fun films for him to work on!

Arthur Rowsell was the assistant costume designer on the project and brought Ian on board after they had previously worked together on a number of productions including The Sentinel (2006), 1-800 Missing (2003-4), Jake 2.0 (2003-4), True Blue (2001), And Never Let Her Go (2001) and The Women of Camelot (2001).

Ian bought a lot of the 60s vintage clothing stock from the movie when it wrapped. We previously posted a video about that, which we will link again in stories.

The make-up effects designer who built the body suit for John Travolta to wear underneath his character Edna’s costumes was Tony Gardner (seen in the picture inserted).
