📍🍫 Along the Cocoa Belt in Cochin, India
Typically grown within 20 degrees of the equator, Cocoa forms as large pods the size of footballs. Inside, the wet beans are removed and dried to produce an earthy unsweetened chocolate flavor.

📍🍃 Willamette Valley of Washington/Oregon, USA
Peppermint is newly planted each year and harvested from large fields. The region’s rich soil and abundant rain make for the most fragrant and flavorful mint.

💭 Did you know that nutmeg and clove are grown on trees? Pepper on a vine and cardamom at the base of its plant under jungle cover? These spices thrive in humidity and are all harvested by hand before being laid to dry in the sun.

A few of our most popular herbals: 🌺 Hibiscus, for instance, goes into hundreds of our products for its deep red infusion, tart astringency, and diverse flavour compositions.

📍 Grown in Egypt, the flowers are planted in sweeping plots along the Nile River, benefitting from the hardy nutrients in the soil.

We also love using hibiscus in our blends because it’s rich in Vitamin C and beta-carotene, making it a great antioxidant!

Do you know what makes the famous flavor of Earl Grey so distinct? It’s the bright zest of these fruit slices. Bergamot! 🍋‍🟩

Bergamot is a variety of orange grown on a small citrus tree around the world. They taste like a mix of orange and lemon with undertones of grapefruit and lime, and have been used to flavor black tea since the 1800s ☕️

These new Thai Bergamot Slices are included in our Darjeeling Earl Grey and Cream Earl Grey blends, and available in bulk bags for your own blending creations.
