The ’s biennial International Ceramic Art Fair (ICAF) returns from May 28 - August 16!

This year, ICAF has been expanded into a full 12-week exhibition and public program exploring the theme “the city and the commons”. From 3D-printed architecture to interactive ceramic terrains, the works will explore how clay shapes our cities, our sense of belonging, and our future.

✨ ICAF Symposium (May 29 - 30): Featuring keynote speaker Ronald Rael on how emerging technologies and traditional practices can work together to reimagine the built environment

As we prepare for our move to 401 Richmond, we are asking for your help to bridge the gap of our resources. A transition of this scale takes resources, this is how you can be a part of supporting Craft Ontario and our ongoing programming in the coming months:

A matching gift is in place to double the impact of contributions at leadership levels. Every gift made this year, at every level, is part of the campaign and directly supports the transition.

Over the past 50 years Craft Ontario has shifted and grown alongside material culture itself and we look forward to celebrating our commitment to craft, together.

As Craft Ontario turns 50 this year, we are marking the milestone with a move that sets up our next chapter: a new home at 401 Richmond Street West, opening August 2027.

Bringing our gallery, retail, programming, and operations under one roof means closing our Queen West location at the end of our lease in July 2026.

We leave West Queen West with gratitude for what the space has made possible for our organization over the past ten years. This decision was made strategically as part of a longer arc of organizational renewal.

During this transition period the rest of Craft Ontario continues without interruption:
- The Distillery District Shop remains open.
- The Gallery at 401 Richmond Street West, Unit 108 continues to operate.
- Online sales, membership, programming, and all of the services Craft Ontario provides to its members across Ontario carry on as usual.
