How about those Leafs. They really came out looking strong. God- damned if they didn't look like at team that could win in the playoffs.
That being said, they've a long grueling road ahead of them. All we leaf fans can really do is to Keep The Faith. I'm all in this year.

It was Chicken Corea's Birthday yesterday. I can still remember the first time I heard " Light as a feather". I was totally floored by the playing and the compositions on rhat album. I remember going to see Claude Ranger playing with Lenny Breau at George'a Spaghetti House about a month after the album was out. Claude had this huge long chart out on the floor beside his drums. He took a guick glance at it and then folded it up. Then they played "Spain" and Claude never missed a shot. Afterwards I asked him how he could do that. He told me that reading was like a picture to him, that it was like a picture of a tree. He just remembered the details of the picture and played them back. That was the heaviest guitar trio I have ever seen, with Lenny, Claude and Don Thompson. Happy belated Birthday Chick.
