An experiment
First I sanded and cleaned the board. Then I applied a walnut stain, added the wording and did a sort of white wash.
I have another already stained and ready to go as well. I'm waiting to see if I really like it or not. Lol. Of course there are a few mistakes, but I feel it adds to the weird old look I was going for.

I think it's ok...ish. Lol.
I am limited on size when it comes to sublimated items.

I didn't like the yellow butterfly one so I took some images I have and created a couple.Turned out ok. 🙂
