Forged from the piece of ¾-inch fine wire cable, that was used in an industrial sling application. This material founds its way into being upcycled into this beautiful Damascus triple improved plow steel cable fillet knife. The handle comes from a moose Antler shed found in northwest Ontario by local hunters. A hand-made of wooden Sheets from tulipwood is included. It offers a japanize style theme, and something different from the regular Kydex or leather used in North America. This knife is a great addition for any chef that wants to have a beautiful knife in the kitchen or fisherman who needs a stiffer blade. The wooden Sheath is included.

This unique filleting knife started its life as a ¾ wire rope and was twisted and forged welded under extreme heat into a solid piece of metal that was hand-ground and polished into a fine edge cutting blade. This wire rope served as a hoisting sling in Northern Ontario. This knife has a full tang retaining its original wire rope characteristics. This blade is for those people that prefer a blade with less flexibility. The African blackwood, also known as Mozambique Ebony, is hugging the handle and secured with brass pins. This knife is definitely going to turn heads and be a great conversation starter. We include a hand-cut and assembled Kydex sheath.

This beautiful 10-inch filleting knife is for a serious fisherman that catches larger fish. Hollow ground 10-inch blade highly polished and razor-sharp. The metal in this knife started its life as a high-speed wafer knife. A waferizer has a rotatable cylindrical head from which a plurality of waferizing knives project for slicing wood stock, and rollers mounted on the head which has a plurality of longitudinally extending radially projecting blades for incising the face of the wood stock to a depth equal to the depth of cut of the knives to produce wafers of uniform width. Tim Ross upcycled this blade from the logging industry in Northern Ontario and produced wafers for our local paper mill in Thunder Bay. The custom-made sheath is made from Black Walnut. This wood makes a durable and beautiful japanize themed scabbard. This knife is definitely going to make your fishing buddies jealous, one of a kind knife made by a master of his trade.

Trendy design popularized by Alamzan Kitchen, Serbian Cleavers come from Serbia, as the name implies. They are great multipurpose kitchen knife, used by many in the same way as a chef knife. They can make sharp cuts to prepare your meal with it and strong enough to build your shelter and chop some small wood logs. The handle is made from Curly Maple Wood with Walnut danish oil finish, very dense, and hardwood with a showy grain. This affordable blade started its life as a circle sawmill blade located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, that cut thousands of studs in a mill. High Carbon L6 Steel has excellent properties, and it is hardened and tempered to hold a sharp edge. It will allow you to resharpen easily. The blade was meticulously crafted by hand by Tim Ross himself at his Thunder Bay forge. Tim mounted an African Blackwood handle, which is also was known as Mozambique Ebony Wood. This luxurious wood comes from a flowering plant in the family Fabaceae, native to Africa's seasonally dry regions from Senegal east to Eritrea and south to the north-eastern parts of South Africa. The tree is an important timber species in its native areas; it is used to manufacture musical instruments and fine furniture. It is a small tree, reaching 4–15 m tall, with grey bark and spiny shoots. This is a very exotic and beautiful material that few bladesmiths dare to use due to its high price and rarity. This material is easy to polish and maintain. Tim also crafted a hand made from Kydex into a blade Sheath included in the long-term protection price.

This masterfully crafted blade forged from recycled swaged wire rope cable received a second life as a cutting blade, twisted tight till it forge-welds under pressure and extreme heat to create a unique lizard skin type pattern on the blade after etching. Triple improved plow steel, also known as 1095 steel, holds an edge exceptionally well. Very easy to sharpen and maintain. This knife is an instant Heirloom.
