Join us every Wednesday for our book sale. Now is the perfect time to pick up a few books to add to your reading pile.

You can fill a bag with all of your favorite authors, craft books, cookbooks, biographies, romance, mystery, true crime, dramas, travel, children's books, and everything in between.

We have a huge selection of books by top selling authors such as Tom Clancy, Patricia Cornwall, Robert Ludlum, Danielle Steele, Harold Robbins, Mary Higgins Clark, James Patterson, Nicholas Sparks, Sally Rooney, Agatha Christie, and Stephen King!

The Catholic Action Centre will be closed for 2 weeks beginning on Thursday, April 2, 2026. We will re-open on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 930am.

This closure will give our hard working volunteers time to rest and relax, the opportunity to spend time with family and friends, and quiet moments to enjoy Easter observances.

We could use your donations of small sized toiletry items for both men and women. Travel size, hotel samples, and smaller packages appreciated.

Examples: Toothpaste, deodorant, toothbrushes, bar soaps, shampoo, body wash.

We could also use brand new combs and hair brushes.

Just a reminder that we are open this week only and will then be closing for a much needed holiday break for all of our wonderful volunteers.

Tuesday, December 16th - open 930 to 3pm
Wednesday, December 17th - open 930 to 3pm
Thursday, December 18th - open 930 to 3pm

We will be closed from Friday, December 19, 2025 to Monday, January 5, 2026. We will open again on Tuesday, January 6th at 930am.

Do you have a loved one who requires extra support to ensure they can safely move around? We have a large selection of mobility and adaptive aids such as walkers, bath chairs and benches, and canes.

We currently have 4 walkers and bath chairs available. Find the right one to keep you safe, secure, and a little more independent.

Welcome Back to School!!

The Catholic Action Thrift Shop has something for every type of student. Come in and fill a bag with children's clothing for just a few dollars. We have a large selection of tops, bottoms, hoodies, sweaters, jackets, and shoes.

For our more mature and adult students we have quite the selection of housewares, small appliances, beds/mattresses, and furniture available. We have microwaves, coffee makers, loveseats, chairs and ďressers available, just to name a few items.

Come in and get what you need to start the school year off right! Our Team is available to help you!

The Catholic Action Thrift Shop will be reopening its doors tomorrow - Tuesday, August 5th at 930am.

The Shop will be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 930am until 3pm.

We look forward to seeing you and helping with your summer and back to school shopping.

Please be reminded that we are a cash only Shop and we do not accept debit cards, credit cards, or any cash app payments.
