Cute Baby Alert! Nothing better than coming home after work and finding a new family of birds at the feeder.

One of the joys of feeding birds in the summer is seeing the young ones, like this cardinal, arrive at the feeder. It takes some time for them to learn how to land on the perches and that the food comes from the ports and not the clear tube. They are goofy, gawky and adorable.

I've resigned myself to the fact that I am not going to have a bountiful cherry harvest this year. I will however, have lots of adorable raccoon photos, and in truth, I think I might just prefer having nice photographs.
