There’s just something magical about being surrounded by plants. Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. Welcome and thanks for visiting our page.

We are a family owned and operated greenhouse located in southwest Saskatchewan in the thriving community of Swift Current. The greenhouse has a long history, established by Vern Smith in 1954, purchased by Sherman & Doreen Lyngstad in 1986. Still at the original location and still using the original buildings, we strive for consistent high quality in every plant we produce.

STOP!

It's time to stop fertilizing your newly planted trees and shrubs. Fertilizing encourages new tender growth, when the trees and shrubs need to start preparing for winter dormancy instead. DO continue watering however.

BTK is a biological insecticide, great for controlling those caterpillar pests. Read the instructions before using.

Forget to water? This plant might be perfect for you!

ZZ plant is a very easy to care for houseplant that tolerates low light but does best with bright, indirect light. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common concern with this plant.

Great for beginners, offices and other low light rooms.

I've been updating and creating care cards for all the new houseplants we have in stock, and I can honestly say I want take them all home with me! There are lots that have come into the greenhouse that I adamantly hate when they arrive, then after time they grow on me, and eventually they typically make the trip home with me!

All houseplants come with a plant specific care card to help you have the most success with your plants!
