Maninder from U-Lock Chilliwack started the morning with Coffee Chat hosted by Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce at 5 Notes Coffee Roastery. It was a wonderful gathering filled with meaningful conversations, and some amazing coffee. We are always grateful for the events hosted by our local chambers groups, and look forward to those in the future.

Westshore U-Lock had a great time attending the WestShore Chamber of Commerce networking event at Worklink ! It was especially inspiring to hear directly from a START program alumni about how the program helped shape their path and create new opportunities after moving to a new country!

It was wonderful learning more about the impact WorkLink continues to have through their support and resources. A truly worthwhile charity and organization to support!

August 7, check out White Rock’s Sidewalking Arts Spectacular! Thrilling street performers will delight audiences in Uptown and Five Corners, White Rock from 11 am to 3 pm at a variety of outdoor venues.

You won’t want to miss Kling Klang! Kling Klang is an intergalactic robot from the galaxy Lumadrome who accidentally ended up on earth. His ship ran out of fuel and he quickly became a fan of the Earthlings, adapting their culture and dance. Kling Klang now calls earth home. He is a 9-foot-tall walking talking robot that interacts with spectators in a fun, futuristic way!

April 22nd is Earth Day 🌎

Big or small, we can all do our part to help the Earth become a better place. Our staff built these beautiful planters from cedar using aspects of the traditional Japanese art of Shou Sugi Ban, which involves charring cedar with fire and finishing it with natural oil. We then planted them with locally sourced plants that will offer bees and pollinators some lovely flowers to visit and healthy foliage to clean the air.

The Prospera Golf Classic has raised almost $660,000 towards charities focused on the well-being and care of children over the past 23 years and U-Lock is proud to have supported this event since the beginning. This year they will be raising funds for BC Children's Hospital Foundation, the province’s only full-service pediatric medical Centre and serves one million children living in BC and the Yukon. Funds raised by BC Children’s Hospital Foundation support BC Children’s Hospital’s acute care centre, mental health facility, research institute and Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children.
