This was my Thursday, after work, quick trip, across the border to get gas.....🥹
ALSO
Wanted to test the tarriff system, buying a bug of milk, a loaf of bread and a package of hamburger buns, to see what is being charged and what's not. (I spent $9.20) (I didn't list the Cadbury Easter Eggs that were half price, because I ate then on the way home 🤣😂)

2.5hrs in the line up to cross back into Canada.(it was the US blocking our border) Every car in single file....

Needles to say, I won't be going down for the next little while (3.75 yrs 😳)

With that said, I also wanted to let you know that I am moving. 😌 I've been putting it off for a bit, and now, I have no choice. (I tried)) No new place yet, but trying to stay close by for my little man's school. Hopefully, this tarriff "Bu****it" comes to an end and then I can reopen at my new place 😀
People need their Tillamook Cheese!! 🤣😂

Found this on a mom's group I follow on Facebook. 🫤

I have noticed a few moms posting asking about cross border shopping and what was being charged. I went across today to shop at Trader Joe’s and Safeway I spent 173 American dollars and I was charged $69 Canadian at the border. It was duties taxes and a 25% tariff on all grocery made in the USA.

Happy Thursday everybody!!

With all the unknowns regarding tariffs at the border crossing, it may be a bit before I head down again for pop and cheese. I've heard of people having to pay taxes AND applicable tariffs on simple, household groceries they have purchased in the USA that day. I will try and stay on top of it and keep you informed.

For now, I still have 1 Colby Cheese, 1 Pepperjack, 2 Extra Sharp & 2 Extra Sharp WHITE.

For pop, I have Canada Dry Cherry Ginger Ale Zero, A & W Rootbeer Zero, A & W Cream Soda,
Vanilla Coke Zero, Sunkist.

Hopefully, this will all be over soon.
