Natural African topaz done finally for myself (once again). Really love how this turned out. FYI anyone looking for custom work done, a larger size cabochon can be done in 1 hr. These smaller ones, including the commissioned citrine, and my opal, plus this one can take 2-3 hours alone.

The emotions behind this piece. This was the first ever stone, a piece of quartz point, I got with my brother and sister ( Nosmo King ) going to the old "crystal dreams and magical themes" rock shop that resided in aldergrove when we were kids. I've had this crystal FOR YEARS . 20+ years. It got chipped and torn up over the years of being in boxes and boxes with other stones. I'd like to say this is where Quarreling Quartz came from, but in fact my name came from the milky quartz my brother and I found and hammered out of a cliff side a few years later than this one piece. To have this original piece redone and wearable is unimaginable. The pinch bail Micheal Johnson got me for Christmas really made this stone so much more magical. It now reminds me of the snowdrop flowers that bloom in pamas garden every year. My phone is messing up with pictures, this photo wont be saved.
This is not for sale.

When I tell you that hours of love and labour went into this piece ❤
These mountains carved into quartz with a full moon.
I have amazed even myself with this. Over 4 hours of work to perfect it. Beautiful in all lighting, stunning for nights out. Pictures and videos dont serve it ant justice.

This is available for $55 on it's own or the drilled hole (currently 1.5mm) enlarged for a slip knot cotton cord at no cost.

One of those nights I wish I could run inside and show pama my work ❤ I can hear her in my head gasping at how amazing this is even though I need to do more work on it.

The front and sides are all polished now other than the diamond paste, I just need to engrave the backside some more to really make the 3d effect pop.

My first mountain carving is picture 1. I learned a lot about creating the desired depth and was antsy to do more, better.
Picture 2 is with what I learned. "F**k around and find out" is the responses I usually got when it came to the foredom and bits and burs. I fu**ed around, I found out, I'm learning and growing this new found craft in lapidary.

The first one the mountains came to the same depth in the quartz. The second one, I did the "further" mountains shallower than the "closer" ones. Hard to tell by pictures, but in person, the second one is leads better. You can kind of see with how the light catches the second one better. Definitely happier
