Today felt like a great day to re-introduce myself 👋🏻

My name is Katie and I am the owner and main florist here at Elwyn’s. I am blessed with three incredible boys that call me Momma. My favorite role in life is being their mom, my second favorite role is “The Flower Girl” I am also incredible blessed with a supportive and encouraging family: my parents and sisters have always believed in me and pushed me to pursue my dreams and passions! And the friends in my circle are truly the best. It definitely takes a village to keep juggling everything, and I have been incredibly blessed by my village

Over the years we have grown this little dream of mine into this beautiful business. Working in the trenches along side me are my sidekicks: my beautiful momma and baby sister. They’re the masterminds behind a lot of our promos and new items, they’re not afraid to roll up their sleeves and spend hours creating arrangements, they’re the corsage and boutonnière Queens, and they forever steal the good snips 🤭🤪

Watching this business grow and thrive has truly been a group effort. It’s been a lot of late nights, early morning, billion hour workdays, tears shed, frustrations and heartbreak felt, learning to pivot and who we can trust. And it’s growing a business with a name to honor my sweet gramps while creating a legacy to show these boys what hard work and determination creates

One of the highest honors is creating florals for weddings and we have been blessed to work with some incredible couples. Listening to your visions and dreams during our first consult and then standing back after an install and seeing the vision come to life creates such joy!

I am loving watching this business grow and change and blossom into something we can be so dang proud of and can’t wait to see what lies ahead for Elwyn’s Garden

From our bride: “Katie did such an amazing job on our flowers for our September wedding. We went over a few pictures of what I envisioned but overall, I was pretty open to her ideas & trusted her creativity. All of our flowers from the bouquets, boutonnières, arch florals, corsages, & memorial florals were absolutely beautiful & matched our wedding vision perfectly. She was easy to communicate with, delivered our arrangements on time, & had everything set up at our venue with no stress on us. I’ve had so many compliments on the colours & arrangements & I can’t wait to receive my bouquet preservation so I can enjoy them for years to come!“
