It’s Friday, and we are turning up the drama for this week’s Monochromatic Insta Hop with Crafty Collaborations! 💖 Today’s featured colour is Berry Burst.

Truly, this is one of my absolute favourite colours—even though everyone knows I’m usually all about the blues! 💙 There is just something so striking about this rich, vibrant pink.

Behind the Design (and a Crafter Confession!):

The Background: I paired the damask stamp from the Echoes of Detail stamp set (part of the Hot Foil bundle of the same name) for a tone-on-tone Berry Burst background, stamped using my Stampin' Positioner.

The "Happy Mistake": Well... the stamping ended up a bit... messed up in the middle! 🙈 But that’s the glorious thing about crafts and art. Like Bob Ross used to say—there are no mistakes, just happy accidents!

The Rescue: I decided to bring in the Everyday Arches dies to create a focal panel right over top. It covered up the mess perfectly so no one else could see it, and it ended up making the design look even better! 🤫✨

The Finishing Touches: The crisp Basic White base and Basic Black details really make that pink pop. I added leaf die-cuts and a sentiment from Opulent Oasis, then finished it off with those sweet white floral embellishments from the Hues of Blue collection.

What started as a stamping hiccup turned into a card that feels elegant, classy, and just plain fun.

It’s Friday Fave time! 🎄✨ I am getting an early start on my Christmas card stack, and this week we are putting two traditional holiday color schemes head-to-head!

Both cards use the same layout featuring the adorable woodland critters from the Woodland Wishes stamp set, colored with Stampin' Blends, and paired with the Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders. I even added heat embossing to those candy cane backgrounds for a touch of festive texture!

Which classic holiday look do you love most?
1️⃣ Shaded Spruce green with "Sending love and joy this Christmas"
2️⃣ Real Red with "May your Christmas be merry and bright"

Let’s talk strategy! 📐✂️

When you find a card layout that just works, don't put it away—re-use it! Keeping the structural blueprint identical and simply swapping out your DSP, stamps, and color palettes allows you to mass-produce cards for every occasion without losing creative momentum.

Whether you're prepping for October, summer thank-yous, or getting a head start on your holiday stash, this vertical-panel layout gives you instant success every single time.

Which season do you find yourself needing the most cards for right now? Tell me below! 👇💬

Now, looking at all this inspiration is fun, but it’s so much better holding the real thing in your hands while you make your wish list.

So, here’s my question for you: Would you like yours? 🙋‍♀️

Three cards. Three vastly different feelings. 🎃🍓🎄

If you ever feel like card-making takes too long because you’re constantly redesigning from scratch, I have a little secret for you: it’s all about the layout! 💡✨

Over the next two weeks, I’m going to share a series of cards featuring different product suites across completely different seasons—from sweet summer berries to spooktacular Halloween fun and cozy Christmas woods. But they all share one single thing in common: the exact same layout! ✂️📐

Look at how shifting your paper and stamps completely transforms the vibe:

🎃 Halloween: Spooky fun featuring the Spooktacular DSP!

🍓 Summer: Sweet & sunny featuring the Homemade Sweetness Suite!

🎄 Christmas: Cozy woodland magic featuring Woodland Wishes stamps and the Seasonal Cheer embossing folder!

Which seasonal vibe speaks to your crafty heart first? Drop a 🎃, 🍓, or 🎄 in the comments! 👇

Crafting can be intimidating... but oh, so rewarding! 🎨✨

Whether it's trying wet-on-wet watercolor techniques or picking up a crochet hook, starting something new always brings out a little anxiety. But as a teacher of 30+ years, I know that struggle is just a natural part of growth!

Recently, thanks to encouragement from friends and family, I pushed past my comfort zone. I tackled watercolouring to create a cozy woodland holiday card, and I've been practicing crochet granny squares with guidance from my daughters. It’s such a great reminder that learning new techniques is all part of the fun.

Happy Monday, stampers! 👋

Our Make & Mingle swap share today comes from the super talented Deanna Kempster, and can I just say... I am completely head over heels for this color combination!

Deanna paired Pretty Peacock with Cajun Craze, and it is such a rich, unexpected pairing! It’s the kind of combo I might not have thought to grab off my shelf right away, but seeing them together on this card stopped me dead in my tracks. 🎨✨

She used the Friendly Foliage bundle, and those delicate botanical stems give the whole design such a light, elegant feel. It’s simple, refined, and absolute proof that the right color pairing can do all the heavy lifting.

Of course, now I have a major problem... seeing how gorgeous this turned out has me dangerously tempted to add the whole Friendly Foliage bundle to my own wish list! (Because a crafter can never really have too many botanical sets, right? 😉🛍️)

Thank you so much for the swap inspiration, Deanna!

Sharon’s Pro-Tip: 💡
Feeling uninspired? Try picking two colors from your ink collection that you’ve never paired together before and stamp a quick focal piece. You might just discover your next favorite palette!

Your turn: Have you ever received a swap card that made you instantly want to buy a new stamp set or bundle? Tell me I’m not the only one! Drop your "must-have" set in the comments! 👇

It’s Friday, and that means another round of the Monochromatic Insta Hop with Crafty Collaborations! ☀️ Today’s focus color is the bright and cheerful Daffodil Delight.

Usually, Basic Black or Basic White are my go-to neutrals (with the occasional gray sneaking in!), but yellow is a special beast—it needs the right supporting colors to really shine! Pairing Daffodil Delight with a rich Early Espresso and a soft Basic Beige card base gave it a much warmer, sunnier flavor. ☕🍰

The Recipe for This Card:

Background: Textured depth using the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder.

The Frame: That delicate, intricate sentiment frame die is from the Web of Fun die set.

The Sentiment Hack: Double-stamped "HELLO" using the Simple Alphabet stamps, accented with a few white gel pen highlights.
(Crafter Confession/Pro-Tip: Notice how the letters are purposely playful and a little crooked? That’s an old hack I used back in my teaching days! I almost always put alphabet stamps on a curve or jaunty angle on purpose. It makes things SO much easier on my OCD tendencies when letters are intentionally wonky instead of accidentally being a millimeter off! 😉)

Finishing Touches: A bit of natural linen thread and sparkling bronze pentagon embellishments!

Inside Detail: I couldn't resist using that hilarious "cake?" sentiment on the inside! I stamped off without re-inking for a soft Early Espresso echo of the front design. (Honestly, I love this sentiment so much! 😂)

🎨 Playing with Reinkers & Watercolouring! 🏔️

When designing for a class, sometimes the best moments happen when you throw the original plan out the window and just experiment!

Lately, I’ve been so inspired watching fellow demonstrator Shannon West use Stampin' Up!® reinkers as watercolour paint. I love her work so much I even signed up for a couple of her classes! Today, I decided to take the plunge—out came the watercolour paper, paint tray, water painters, and reinkers.

I stamped the individual forest critters from Woodland Wishes in Basic Gray, coloured them up, and then created this lush, painted mountain landscape background to bring them all together.

I’m so happy with how this scene turned out! Because this was my very first try with this technique, I’m still pondering how best to teach it, so it might not make it into this upcoming class roster. But it was way too much fun not to share! 🌲 Deer, bear, fox, hedgehog, and bird included!

Have you ever tried using your reinkers as watercolours? What’s your favourite way to play with ink? Drop your thoughts below! 👇
