Strong partnerships are at the heart of a strong industry. Here’s what one of our amazing partners shared about their experience with the Canadian Rental Association.

"The Canadian Propane Association (CPA) and its training division, the Propane Training Institute (PTI), are proud members of the Canadian Rental Association (CRA). As active participants in the CRA Ontario Committee, PTI contributes to discussions on safe propane use, technician training, and regulatory compliance.

In 2024, PTI attended several CRA Ontario events, including networking gatherings at Kubota Canada, Dave & Buster’s, and a post-Rental Mart event at The King Edward in Calgary. PTI also participated in the 2024 CRA Rental Show in Ottawa, joining a panel on propane safety and training. These engagements provided valuable opportunities to share insights and reinforce the importance of certified propane handling practices."

The Canadian Propane Association (CPA) represents Canada’s propane industry, promoting safety, innovation, and best practices. Its training division, the Propane Training Institute (PTI), offers certified programs to ensure safe propane use across sectors, including rentals. PTI’s courses and material, available in English and French, incorporate the latest regulations and standards in the industry, ensuring quality material approved by regulators across Canada. Jim Bellwood, PTI’s Business Development Manager, brings over 25 years of industry experience, with expertise in safety, operations, and customer service from leadership roles at Superior and Highlands Propane.
