We are no strangers to nostalgia, as a matter of fact, we thrive on it. That's why Extra Life is now carrying "World's Finest" chocolate bars.

We remember those cool Autumn days going door to door selling these bars; fundraising for a new play structure. That was the spark of entrepreneurship that led us to where we are today.

You asked and we delivered.

We are now carrying Magic! The Gathering in store. These four booster boxes are currently available for purchase.

If you're looking for something specific, we can order it for you. Prepaying will be required for specific orders. We can also order other TCG products, including SOME Pokemon.

Dewey is in charge of our TCG department. If you have any specific questions, you can find him at the shop Wednesday and Friday evenings, as well as all day Sundays.

Today marks TEN YEARS since Extra Life Game Shop first opened.

Shane opened the store as a solo venture on May 7th, 2016. After three years of meeting the best people and making the greatest memories, the store came to a close so he could pursue other opportunities.

Then in December of 2022, Shane and Dustin teamed up and brought the magic back; selling games out of a dingy, cramped basement as a fun little side hustle. Surprisingly, after only one year selling out of that basement, we quickly grew out of it.
Brandon joined the business and we set out to bring back Extra Life as a full retail store.

We've been back operating as a full retail business for almost as long as the original Gameshop's run. Time really does fly when you're having fun. This continues to be a fun passion project and side hustle for all of us. We can't thank you all enough for keeping the dream alive.

We've brought on more of our friends to keep growing the store. You can find Diode here on evenings and Saturdays taking care of all your controller and console repair needs. As well as Kai, who is here evenings and Sundays getting our Magic The Gathering!/TCG side of the store up and running.

We'll be moving to our new building next door at the end of the summer. We are so excited to bring more retro magic to Steinbach and the surrounding communities. Thank you for an amazing ten years of support.
