Sunrise Sublimations is the very first company of its kind in Newfoundland and Labrador (to our knowledge!) to exclusively offer customers in Newfoundland and Labrador freeze dried goodies at unbeatable prices. We are born and raised in the Metro area and have been operating our little candy gig since 2017. Thanks for shopping local!

Prices INCLUDE taxes and free local delivery within St. John's Metro. (Please note the website says prices exclude taxes which is incorrect - working on fixing that).
Hours of operation / deliveries are scheduled 7 days a week (8:30am - 7:30pm) and most holidays too - feel free to message us and send in orders 24/7/365 though.
Although the internet will tell you - freeze dried food can last up to 30 years. This is strictly dependent on proper conditions.
Typically air moisture is the enemy. As we live on an island with humidities reaching 100% regularly during the peak social seasons locally. We do our best for you to ensure our goodies will last as long as humanly possible without you needing a proper storage facility.
We do however highly suggest keeping our products in an air tight, water tight container to absolutely ensure product longevity, Tupperware bins or 5 gallon buckets should work.
If for any reason you do not have sufficient containers. Keeping them in the shipping boxes in a cool, dry place (with the vacuum sealing) will work.
Please do not keep these for example in a basement or anywhere it is damp or in direct sunlight / overly warm areas. Whatever is the dryest, coolest area you have available - please store them here.
Skittles note: Periodically there may be a chewy Skittle that did not fully undertake the freeze dry process. This, unfortunately is unavoidable - however we do do our best during packaging to remove as many of these as possible. As we are a small time craft company we do all this by hand so there shouldn't be very many at all.
We will only be able to offer certain items. In the past we had access to other Skittles flavors but it seems that Mars Inc. (manufacturers of Skittles) have discontinued making them in large quantities for the time being. Perhaps in the future if they become available again we will offer them - unfortunately we will not be able to offer other flavors than original at this time.
As many of you may have seen through various online videos there has been a craze of sorts regarding freeze dried candies.
Indeed there are many foods and candies that CAN be freeze dried - unfortunately for us we cannot offer many of these options due to a variety of reasons.
Unfortunately we cannot freeze dry your own products, do consignments or loan our equipment out.
We've legitimately received requests for us to freeze dry everything from other types of candies, seafood, insects and taxidermy.
For safety and sanitary reasons we will not be able to offer 3rd party freeze dry services to anyone. Thanks in advance for your understanding in these matters.
Sorry we do not have a pickup location. Delivery is only for metro St. John's area.

Currently we don't have a shipping rate just yet (working on that) once you place your order we'll be in touch with that asap. Doing some rough calculations shipping may be $40.00 - $60.00 within the province of Newfoundland & Labrador.

Orders can take anywhere from same day to a week (or even a bit more) depending on supplies / inventory on hand. Some of our packaging materials are shipped in so unfortunately there may be a delay in receiving your order (the joys of living on an island). If this is ever the case we will of course let you know in advance.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. We do not have to give reasons for denial of service as we are a privately owned and operated business.
