With the air thick with smoke and so many people not far from us displaced by wildfire, sending up prayers and wishes of care for everyone affected. For the communities, animals and lands in the paths of the fires. ❤️

We are here in this little corner of the valley, with the hepa filter on, a/c when needed, and a comfy couch for anyone who needs a spot to chill outside of the smoke.

The overalls that went home with the person wearing them in these photos are from a new artist consignor we have called Magie & Co! Come checkout the whole line of re-worked/up-cycled secondhand clothing!

Cece just got back from a 5 day buying trip to the coast, so expect to see all the new things put out in the coming days. 🫶🏻

Tenise Marie tried on and purchased that dress from Rambling Rose right before performing in it for her set at the Grill & Chill. Divine. As though it was made for her. ❤️

A little look back at the beautiful time we shared together ✨

Thank you so much to everyone who came out, ate, visited, sang together and fill the evening with joy.

Thank you to Kinfolk Nation, Tenise Marie, Sapphire Guthrie, Tennyson King and Chris Noble who shared their music with us - as well as Kinfolk’s guest appearances from Hampton & Gary (Cece’s dad).

Thank you to Neil who kept the event flowing and humorous as our MC and for serving up his infamous Guyanese patties.

Thank you to Takao for serving his delicious handmade Gyoza!

Thank you to Alex & Kylie from The Shop for doing sound and tickets and setting up the big tent - all with such grounded energy.

Thank you to the Rambling Rose staff: Josée, Cole and Chelsea for all of your diligence, enthusiasm and support with big and little things through-out the event.

Thank you to all of the volunteers without whom this event would not have been possible: f***y & Que (all the way from Vancouver!), Maria, Rosemary, Lola, Jill, and my parents (all the way from Manitoba).

And a BIG big thank you to Manon, George & Madeleine for trusting us with this space and letting us take over the spicer centre and the yard!

Take a little walk through the shop with me? ☀️

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get the store extra full, extra cute, and all prepped and ready for the event we’re hosting this weekend!

There’s been a big shoe drop, the summery tops have been restocked, we made a whole linen/cotton rack, and there’s lots of fresh little things tucked in everywhere.

We also got a couple new artist shirts this week! I’ll post those in the stories later today. ☺️

Come browse the fresh racks before the busy weekend! They are full of summer pieces, natural fibres, and easy layers. We’ve also got quality polarized sunglasses, leather bags, leather belts, a vast array of hats in every style, and as always - beautiful creations by over 50 local artists: body care products, art prints and cards, handmade jewelry and more!

It’s a good weekend to stop in at Rambling Rose! 🌹

Here’s why,

The C’est Moi bamboo basics have JUST been restocked and you know they are gonna go fast! (Bralettles, Tankinis, Crop Tees, Crop Tanks, and leggings!)

We’ve got a whole selection of new socks! The cutesy sheer frilly socks (photos 3+5) and the 🔥 gym crew socks (photos 3+4).

Plus a fun summery selection of new jewelry out - little sardine necklaces and bracelets and colourful fish necklaces, etc! (photos 6+7)

scored this cotton + linen jumpsuit the other day (photo 1) and her mom .u.s.h (photo 2) scored the hat she’s wearing, among other treasures! …and guess what?! She’s been in the vintage industry for 30 years and her shop, located in Waco Texas, is about to make a resurgence. So stay posted for collabs with Rambling Rose! 😁

And finally! While Cece is out in the Okanagan chasing rainbows (last slide), Cole will be at the shop for you today + tomorrow from 11—5 🙌🏻

IT’S HAPPENING! 🌭🎶

A summer evening outside at Rambling Rose with live music, homemade food, new friends and familiar faces.

The event will run 4pm–8pm on July 11th
With Rambling Rose open 11am–7pm (extended hours).

TICKETS:

Advance tickets are $20
Tickets at the door will be $30

Kids come free with an adult
