We know we've added a lot of bars this year and it might be hard to know which bar you might like. Because of that, we've been working on a few website features to help you make a more informed decision, especially when you aren't at an event where you can sample.

Each bar now has a Flavour Experience, which lets you see just what to expect with each bar (the profiles are based on the notes of two close friends who have exceptional palates).

This has been a difficult 2 months for us emotionally as we have deep roots in both Venezuela and our home, Colombia. Gracias a Dios our family members are all safe and accounted for, but our hearts still ache for our compatriots who have lost or are looking for their loved ones.

Please keep both countries in your hearts and prayers. If you have the means, please consider donating to trustworthy organizations operating in the region. Mobilizing resources is a difficult, dangerous, and costly endeavor in the region.

Say hello to Nestor.

You may have seen this little guy hanging around our table at markets and events. Nestor goes pretty much everywhere with us.

He was handmade from corn leaves by an artist in Bucaramanga, Colombia, and he's named after Nestor, the cacao farmer who cared for our harvest at Bosque de Cacao Yarigües.

This Christmas, we're finally putting him to work. Nestor is taking over our 2026 Chocolate Advent Calendar, and over 24 days he'll be taking you on a chocolate adventure of his

own.

What's he got planned? We're not telling you yet.

The mystery is revealed. Our new origin is the famous Chuncho from the Cusco region of Peru. We've been wanting to find a new Peruvian cacao for over a year.

We had always heard a lot about Chuncho, but it wasn't until meeting Delavoye Chocolate Maker that we were convinced to give it a try. (We literally ordered these beans while sitting with him and other makers for dinner)

We are super excited for this bar. It will be available for purchase from us at Local Market YQR on Saturday, and will be available online starting Sunday Aug 9th

Quick, let's play a guessing game. What new single origin bar do you think we're working on?

Hint: Its genetic family has been growing in the Andes long before chocolate bars existed.

Normally, summer heat means we shut down production for most of July and August and fight to keep our already molded chocolate from melting.

We've got a few things in the works right now, so we must press on and push our ac to the limit.
