The tried and true family dinner at this time of year often includes a ham. The following glaze is sure to impress:
2 tbsp KALAMATA (or other) EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL from TASTERS
1/2 cup MAPLE DARK BALSAMIC VINEGAR from TASTERS
1/4 cup maple syrup*
2 shallots, minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp thyme
1 tbsp rosemary
3 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
*No maple syrup? Don't worry, increase the amount of dark maple balsamic vinegar
Mix all ingredients until well combined. Spoon over your ham. Cook as per instructions for ham. Baste frequently with glaze until ham is cooked. Enjoy!
