Dear friends...

At this time I am winding down operations at From Muddy Water. I will be finished at The Hobnobber by the end of March. Life has changed and the marketplace has changed too.

I'm taking time for my family and myself, focusing on what's most important to me. The past few years have been emotionally challenging, I didn't take the time to properly grieve my losses. It's time for me to do so.

Thank you for all your support throughout the years! I'm proud to know that my creations are out there making other people happy.

I would especially like to thank some very special people who are amazing artisans and great friends to have... Karen Reid, Ollie Coates, Sheri Wollf, Shelley Kaszefski, Karen Davidson, and Saralee Palmer. Biggest thank you goes to my wonderful husband Derek who works for no wages, hauling my craft things from market to market, and to my absolute gem of a daughter Penny who is always supportive and happy to help me out at a sale or with ideas. I love you all ❤️❤️

Summer flew by, so did most of fall! I took time to finish some personal projects. The first "real" craft I learned was cross stitch. It's still my favourite. This lovely pattern caught my eye (I'm terrible, I forgot to write down the designer and I couldn't find the book again at the library!). I thought about my mom a lot while making this. She taught me to cross stitch and she'd be very proud of the back lol.

Christmas is coming up and I have three markets booked!

And as always I'm at the Hobnobber on 33rd.

This weekend I'm taking some time off, visiting family in the mountains 🗻 where there's already some snow!

Only 195 days until Halloween 🎃 👻🧙‍♀️... I'm busy making some fun new decor and ornaments. Having fun doing the first craft I really learned, cross stitch! These little potion bottles have a surprise under a black light. Coming soon to The Hobnobber!
