SURPRISE SALE!!
Hi there treasure hunters a.k.a. the YXE OPPORTUNITY SHOP thrifters.

The last surprise sale a couple of weeks ago was so much fun, the manager said "let's have another one".

Here we go...our DRESS racks are loaded with great looking summer dresses and skirts and there's more waiting their turn to show off but no place to put them. Here's where you come in........

This coming Friday and Saturday, the 29th and 30th of May, the DRESSES and SKIRTS will be 50% off. This also includes the orange tagged dresses which are 50% off already!!! A $12 dress with an orange tag will cost only 3 dollars!!!

PINK TAGGED DRESSES AND SKIRTS ARE NOT INCLUDED.

The boss was in a good mood Monday morning and said "let's have a surprise sale this week".
"That's a great idea we all said."

After some discussion, a decision was made.

50% off on LONG sleeved tops and LONG pants.(men's and womens).(Capris and shorts not included)

Pink ticketed items (boutique) are not included.

Donations can be dropped off at parking spot #9 between The Opp Shop and Egadz. If item(s) are smaller, light weight and easily carried, they can be brought in through the front door and given to the cashier or carried to the back area of the shop where someone will help you.

There have been some individual enquiries about donating to the YXE Opportunity Thrift Shop. This is an update for everone regarding donations.
First of all, thank you for considering the Opp Shop as your donation recipient.
The shop is now open on Monday as well as Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
We accept donations until 3:00 p.m. on any day the shop is open.
We respectfully ask that items are clean and in good condition.
Accepted donations can include clothing for women, men and children, household items including kitchen ware, linens, small appliances, books, jewellry and other items you want to rehome.
Furniture and large appliances are not accepted due to lack of space.
I hope this information is helpful. Many new customers have come to shop here and are happy with the quality and variety of items for sale.
The shop is staffed primarily by volunteers who enjoy what they are doing and knowing that the profits are donated to local charities is a win win for everyone.

The Opportunity Thrift Shop is now open on Monday starting today.....Monday, March 16th, 2026. This is a great way to start spring.
Winter sale continues at 50% off for now but we are making room for spring/summer wear.

THE YXE OPPORTUNITY THRIFT SHOP IS ADDING ANOTHER DAY OF SHOPPING!!!!
Starting MONDAY, MARCH 16th, 2026 the shop will now be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Monday for shopping. We look forward to serving our customers an extra day each week!!!

The YXE OPPORTUNITY THRIFT STORE continues to donate its profits to local community charities.
Check out our "Brag Board" listing some of the charities that have been presented with donations of cash as well as merchandise.
There's so many rewarding moments when we are able to make these donations.
The volunteers are the backbone that makes the business what it is today. We are always welcoming new recruites. If this appeals to you to come and join us for a few hours a week as a volunteer, just give the shop a call or better yet, come in and meet the manager who will share information and set you up.
