Hello there! It’s been quite some time since I’ve shown up here - but to be honest, I’ve been focused on showing up for myself!
Paper Doll has been a saving grace for me through some really dark times. When my body said “no more” and I was forced to stop, I struggled so much to find my purpose. Creating cards was the calm and quiet for me.
When I began to share more of my creations, I found a new community. Card makers around the globe, local makers here in Sask and a wonderful bunch of humans who supported me by shopping, sharing and cheering me on.
But then I found myself so busy - keeping up with weekly craft challenges, making custom orders, trying to keep my stock up, stay engaged in the gram and post regularly. The calm and quiet card making was gone.
This year - I have found myself drawn to different things that fill my cup. I have been walking more, connecting with nature, working towards increasing my teaching stamina.
So for now, I have closed custom orders but hope to still enjoy getting in my craft room when I feel drawn.
