Advantage360 & Advantage360 PRO Contoured Keyboards Now In Stock

The NEW Advantage360 and 360 PRO Contoured Keyboards from Kinesis Corporation offer the same performance and ergonomics-focused 3-dimensional keywell design of earlier Advantage Contoured models but now includes enhanced ergonomic capabilities. Both models now offer the freedom of a fully split keyboard to permit individual splay and spread of the keyboard halves and are equipped with Gateron Brown low-force tactile switches. The keyboard modules offer 2 angles of tilt that can be used to enhance the natural degree of tilt created by the recessed keywell design. The basic Advantage360 is a corded keyboard with the modules connected via a linking cable that offers 9 inches of separation and high quality PBT keycaps. It is equipped with the powerful SmartSet Programming engine that offers expansive programming options. The Advantage360 PRO model is fully bluetooth, eliminating ALL cables. The PRO also offers adjustable global white backlighting with shine-through ABS keycaps. The PRO model offers even more advanced programming options through the use of the open-source ZMK Programming Engine making it suited to those with at least some degree of programming experience.

Freestanding Leg Rests from Score are a solution for those who may need to keep their leg elevated while sitting. These leg rests are equipped with a 5-point base which allows them to remain upright without the need to attach to any other furniture. The 2" thick and 16" long pads are sufficient to comfortably cradle even swollen legs. The base is just under 20" in diameter to minimize interference. The leg rest is equipped with resilient foam padding, comfortably keeping the foot, knee and hip properly aligned while elevating the foot and leg. These unints are suited for use following surgery in order to relieve knee and foot pain, to decrease blood pooling in the lower extremities, reduce pressure on the spine and decrease fatigue.

Height adjustment is accomplished with a standard "chair-style" gas cylinder and lever release. The pad can be angled up to 15° from horizontal and locks in at any point within the range. These Rest are available with either woven fabric or leatherette coverings in both Single and Double models.

For more information on the Freestanding Single Leg Rest, see our online catalog at http://www.ergocanada.com/detailed_specification_pages/score_freestanding_double_leg_rest.html.

The SAIPH Foot Brace Rail from ErgoVerse is designed to accommodate the varying postures adopted by those who use sit-stand or leaning workstations. The rail provides two angles of presentation, the 30° side more suited to seated or standing applications, and the 60° side which lends itself to leaning applications and stretching of the lower legs.

The SAIPH Foot Brace Rail is also beneficial for those who work at sit-stand workstations, and who perch or lean against a seat, allowing these users to brace their feet against the bar. Bracing against the rail creates a more natural and comfortable alignment of the ankle and permits more relaxed movement of the lower leg muscles. When seated on a traditional chair the 30° side of the SAIPH Foot Brace Rail serves well as a footrest.

The SAIPH Foot Brace Rail provides over 17" of rail width supported on both ends by sturdy non-marking rubber supports. Grip pads keep the bar in place on both hard and soft surfaces. Raised ridges running the width of the bar can provide a comfortable massaging effect for users who opt to work without footwear.

For more information on the SAIPH Foot Brace Rail, see our online catalog at http://www.ergocanada.com/detailed_specification_pages/ergoverse_saiph_foot_brace_rail.html.

The Freestyle Pro Keyboard from Kinesis Corporation integrates proven ergonomics and TenKeyLess design in a mechanical keyboard packed with the latest in custom programmability and performance. The result is a keyboard that offers the advanced functionality that high performance users demand while providing the same ergonomic benefits that tens of thousands of everyday computer users have enjoyed for years.

Based on the proven ergonomic design of the Freestyle2 and its predecessor, the Freestyle Solo, the Freestyle Pro is an adjustable, separated keyboard offering considerable ergonomic benefits.

The Freestyle Pro Keyboard is equipped with Cherry MX Brown tactile mechanical keyswitches with an activation force rating of 45 grams. This tactility in conjunction with the audible click on activation is intended to assist users in reducing the degree of unnecessary force and overall effort by notifying them when downward movement is no longer required.

The feature-rich Freestyle Pro Keyboard is packed with power. The SmartSet Programming Engine supports on-the-fly remapping of any key and the 4 MB onboard memory (the v-Drive) can store up to 9 dual-layer fully programmable layouts for instant access or program-specific commands. The left hand module also features a convenient bank of 8 pre-programmed keys for one-touch access to common shortcut and navigation commands. High speed typists will appreciate the full NKRO mode and 100% Anti-Ghosting design that means no lost keystrokes or commands. A 1 ms response time (1000 mhz polling) means instant response for the performance-minded. Media controls are easily accessed via the embedded FN layer that remains available regardless of which custom layout you are currently working with.

The RollerMouse Red Wireless from Contour Design is the latest member of the RollerMouse family of inline / central pointing devices. It has the most significant changes made to the Rollermouse design so far: sleek aluminum housing that is solid and sturdy; a newly redesigned rollerbar with added thickness and texture; and a completely different tracking technology from that used in previous models. It is also avaiable in both a wired and wireless model.

The improved redesign of the Red makes cursor control more precise and effortless without compromising durability and robustness, replacing the old mechanical clicking with a newer "virtual" clicking mechanism. It is the most advanced model in the RollerMouse family.

For more information on the RollerMouse Red Wireless, see our online catalog at http://www.ergocanada.com/ec_home/manufacturers/contour_design_1.html.

The RollerMouse Red by Contour Design is a central pointing device which uses an easy-to-access 1" diameter rollerbar instead of a traditional mouse and is designed to sit immediately in front of your keyboard below the space bar. This allows the use ...

The Eureka Swing Chair from Eureka Ergonomic merges new aesthetics and production technology with the proven design of the patented ErgoMotion mechanism. The Eureka may look different on the outside but beneath the new look is the same counterbalance mechanism design that put earlier SwingSeat and SwingChair models in a class by themselves. The seat and backrest of the Eureka Swing Chair sense the position of the body and adjust independently to provide perfectly aligned support that effortlessly shifts and synchronizes with the user as they move throughout the day. No longer do users have to adjust their chair as they change position—rather, the chair automatically makes necessary adjustments based on the movement of the user. Regardless of whether the user is leaning back to relax, forward to answer the phone or just sitting working on the computer, the Eureka Swing Chair will be continuously adjusting to their every movement. The patented counterbalancing tilt mechanism ensures that the lumbar support remains in perfect alignment as you move throughout the day. Because the Eureka Swing Chair adapts to the user, once the seat height, backrest depth, and backrest tension are set, most users will never need to adjust their chair again—the ErgoMotion mechanism takes care of that. With the natural rhythmic movement of the body restored, the user is able to fully focus on their work not on how to adjust their chair to be more comfortable.

For more information on the Eureka Swing Chair, see the Seating -Office Chairs product line page in our online catalog.

02/05/2018

The Unimouse from Contour Design is designed to encourage the user to change hand position throughout the day or as discomfort is detected. It incorporates a 35° - 70° friction-based tilt mechanism and a fully articulating thumb support which is designed to adapt the mouse to fit the dimensions of most hands.

Employing the tilt mechanism enables the user to reduce the risks associated with pronation of the forearm. With the 35° - 70° range of adjustment most users should be able to find a vertical orientation which is comfortable to them. The friction-based locking system also permits the user to incrementally adjust the angle throughout the day, in response to the particular work being performed or responding to negative feedback which their body may be providing. The vertical tilt is complemented by the articulating thumb support which can be adjusted through a full 3-D range. Utilizing the pivot, slide and pull-out options on the thumb support lets users adapt the mouse for hand length and width, fine-tuning the dimensions to fit their exact needs. As with the tilt option - if discomfort is detected the user can effortlessly make minor adjustments while seeking an optimum position. Because none of the adjustments on the Unimouse are actually "locked in" any user who wishes to avoid static posture of the hand has the option of encouraging postural change by changing the Unimouse body angle and thumb support position at any time.

For more information on the Unimouse, see our online catalog at http://www.ergocanada.com/ec_home/manufacturers/contour_design_1.html.
