We’ve made up kits for Show and Tell pattern. And we’ve made it our way! We’ve used Kona Pepper for our dark background fabric and we’ve made up the little “quilts” with Elizabeth Hartman’s Scenery fabric and the animals with solid fabrics. This quilt is going to just pop! The quilt itself finishes 75”x 85” and the kit is available both in-store and online.

We had a staff challenge here at Periwinkle using the Mid Century Modern Material Girl pattern by Lorna McMahon of Each staff member made up a block that represented themselves. The blocks use the folded corner method and honestly, we had so much fun! Now that they are hanging in the shop, we are encouraging our customers to come and guess who each Material Girl is (we have a little form) and then they will be entered into a draw for a FQ bundle the end of August! In the meantime, the Mid Century Modern Material Girl pattern is available online and in-store.
