It’s been a while so we thought for any new followers, we would introduce ourselves!
Hi! Welcome to knits t**s & sewing bits! We are a mother daughter team that loves to make practical and useful items for everyday life!
Our little business has 2 faces behind it! Ellen is the brains and manufacturing behind this cute little business! She is also the one that manages our email account and takes the orders from you! I (Kim) take care of all the social media and marketing! I do dabble in some sewing projects too.
We are both born and raised in Saskatoon and work full-time jobs. Everything we do for Knits t**s & sewing bits is on our off time and weekends. Ellen has been sewing her whole life and was an avid quilter until she found her true passion of sewing our awesome products! I have also joined the manufacturing team recently and I hope to be able to put my bags out for sale in the near future here as well. I have always been interested in sewing from a young age. As an only child, I spent a lot of time with my mom and watching her sew was what made me love it! I haven’t been sewing for too long but I am a perfectionist so hopefully my bags are just as beautiful as the ones mom creates.
We both love what we do and love this little business we have created! The name was created by a wonderful friend of mine (my mom’s “second daughter”) and was designed to incorporate everything we do! The logo was created and drawn by me!
Everything we do is local and we hope you enjoy seeing what we create!
