As parents we get. Single use disinfectant wipes sure are easy. They’re quick, convenient, and seem like a simple way to keep surfaces clean.

But they also create a lot of waste. 😬

Most are used for just a few seconds, then tossed in the garbage. Many are made with synthetic fibres, come in plastic packaging, and are not meant to be flushed, composted, or recycled. Yikes!

We’re getting excited for the nuSarnia Foundation Kids Bike Rally this weekend! 🚲

GLRC is proud to be one of the partners supporting this fun, free, family-friendly event at Canatara Park on Saturday, June 13 from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Kids ages 4–12 can enjoy bike decorating, Bike Safety 101, a fun obstacle course, rally passports, prizes, and more. Parents and guardians are welcome to ride along with their kids, too!

We love seeing events like this bring families together, encourage outdoor fun, and celebrate community in one of Sarnia’s beautiful green spaces.

Did you know you can make a really delicious iced tea with just a few simple ingredients... most of which you can find in our store?

Start with a black tea, add frozen fruit like blueberries or cherries, sweeten with a little local honey, then balance it out with a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon juice.

That’s it. Simple, refreshing, and perfect for hot summer days. ☀️

We also have tea blends like Berrylicious in stock that are basically begging to be turned into iced tea. Brew it strong, chill it, pour over ice, and enjoy.
