Hey everyone! Miss me yet?
I know it’s been a while and wanted to share an update with everyone and answer some questions on what’s going on.
Since we closed the store I have started a new treatment for my brain tumor and have been working with my specialist in Toronto.
This included some new medications with a lot of side effects as it changes many physiological aspects. - Short form, it’s not very fun and I’m quite sick today (though my memory is starting to improve).
Some days are better than others, today is the worst.
This treatment plan is expected to be a minimum of one year and can take several years of treatment, MRIs and bloodwork.
That being said, I’m okay. I just feel sick and nauseous everyday.
I am still taking orders for pick up or delivery. Most of our plant stock is gone except for our inventory at our dear friends store in Mitton Village - Aura hair care located beside Dog Eat Dog.
Miranda is Aura Hair Care and a dear friend so go check her out. Aura Hair Care

I currently took a part time job at sally beauty to help cover my medications with the benefits plan and absolutely love the people I’m working with.
They are an amazing group of women and I still get to have some self care and grace while I’m not feeling my best.
If you need anything, come say hi and pick up some beauty supplies 😉

What is our current plan?
I am currently changing the many aspects from our website that are under utilized and streamline it to make it easier for me to manage.
Our main focus right now is our breeding program at Sphynx of Sarnia. This program is a passion of mine for years as many of you know from our store.
As a preservation breeder for Canadian sphynx, we love providing knowledge, support, and great companions for people.
Our side project for Sphynx of Sarnia is Sphynx Rescue Sphynx Rescue (head over there to read our mission statement) we will be attending Vegfest this year to spread awareness.

Will we be doing our annual Sarnia Plant Swap?
It is my goal this year to have a venue and make it free. Last year we had doubled our donations to the John Howard Society and knowing that we probably won’t be able to make as large of a contribution this year due to health issues and making it free, it will make it significantly easier for me to manage.
I am hoping to have a venue secured by February and will let you all know around then. If you want to volunteer for this event, it is very welcome while I am not feeling the best.
I want to thank Bluewater Power for their generous donations last year towards the event and continued support of our beautiful city.

❤️ Thank you all for your continued support. I love our community and hope to see you all this summer. ❤️
