In a wee little basement in the home of Christina Marcano. Christina started in the clothing business over ten years ago when she co-founded an active wear company called Skyler Clothing. Skyler grew quickly and by 2008 they had three stores over two-hundred wholesale accounts and regular appearances on the Shopping Channel and then…the recession hit. The company started to spiral out of control a

nd as a last ditch effort Christina went to pitch her case on CBC’s the Dragons Den. The response was phenomenal. She received an outpouring of support but after a bit of soul searching she realized Skyler wasn’t her true dream. She closed Skyler down and headed back to her basement where she got to work building her true dream - Silver Icing. An amazing brand that offers comfy chic clothing that won’t break the bank. In 2013 Silver Icing launched and is now a thriving online shop with a network of independent stylists. As a young mom, Christina knew how important a work life balance is. She was tired of driving 2 hours a day back and forth from work. She loved being able to make her kids lunch or take them to a park on a sunny afternoon. Being a stay at home working mom was exactly what her family needed and it is from this experience that she committed to building a company that other moms and women could be a part of. Her greater vision is to provide women with the option to balance life and work by having the opportunity to work from home during hours that don’t disrupt the family lifestyle. Becoming an Online Styilst does just that. It is the best of both worlds, everything is online so you can commit as much or as little as you like. You can work when the kids go to bed or nap during the day. Everything can be done online, including pop up shops, so there is no need to sacrifice evenings or weekends to host parties. Allison's Brunette / Jet Black Serif Tee (White Tee) Review: Compared to the boxy tee, this one is a bit more fitted and has a bit more length as well! It is still a super comfortable relaxed fit though! I am obsessed with the serif font that BTL is using, it is so classic! I am wearing an L/XL and it's the perfect fit! This is the same fit as the All You Need Is Love Tee but the cotton is slightly heavier on this one.

Allison's Brunette / Jet Black Serif Boxy Tee (Black Tee) Review: I am literally obsessed with the boxy tee fit from Brunette The Label!! The length just sits at the perfect spot and it's the perfect slouchy fit! It has a dropped shoulder with a wider sleeve! I love doing a little cuff while I wear this style! I am wearing an L/XL and I love this fit! This is the same fit as the Beach Babe Boxy Tee which I love and I know you do too!

Allison's Shake, Rattle & Roll Skirt Review: Oh my goodness you guys, I am going to need this skirt! It's glitzy but not too flashy. The all-around fit is amazing. I'm in the XL and it fits like a dream. It's got a stretchy waistband with a soft inner lining. I can't get enough!

Lyvia's Blonde / Redhead Serif Tee (White Tee) Review: I could wear a BTL Tee every day, the quality of the cotton is so high, it feels so amazing on the skin! This is the same fit as All You Need It Love Tee but the cotton is slightly heavier. I love the serif font on this but the fit is what I love the most. It's relaxed, not too long, ideal for wearing with a high waisted jean to tuck. The body is not fitted, in fact it's a little wide which makes it extra comfy. I am wearing the size S/M and it fits great. I would stick with the typical size you wear in BTL.

Lyvia's Blonde / Redhead Serif Boxy Tee (Black Tee) Review: This is the same fit as the Beach Babe Boxy Tee which I wear at least once a week! It's so soft and comfortable, just an all around amazing fit. A nice open sleeve, wider, boxy fit... What more could you ask for in a casual tee?! Once again, the cotton is extremely soft and high quality. I am wearing the S/M and the fit is great.

Lyvia's Shake Rattle & Roll Skirt Review: Hands down the comfiest, fanciest skirt I have ever worn. The interior is lined with a super comfortable and soft material and the entire thing offers a ton of stretch. The sequins are so pretty and sparkle ever so slightly. It's perfect for a date night, in the house or out! I am wearing the size small but will prefer to size up to medium for personal preference which allows for a little more ease while walking and sitting.

Kim's Ain't She Sweet Hair Clips Review: These pearly hair clips are so cute and so easy to wear. They come in a 2-pack with a prong-style opening. One is a barrette shape and the other is a classic long clip. They're super easy to wear and didn't pull my hair at all! These are so cute for dressing up any look and can be worn so many ways!

Kim's Girl's Best Friend Hair Clips Review: These also have a beautiful pearly finish to them and are such a cute addition to any outfit really! These are a classic barrette shape and style of closure. They come in a 2-pack as well which is great!

Kim's Be Stripe Back Romper Review: Omg, these are so cute! The brand is Sho Sho but the material is not like the typical Sho Sho material. It's a medium weight, almost structured feel to it. This piece doesn't offer any stretch except in the back. It features a stretchy back panel. I did have to size up to a medium as my bum wouldn't fit in the small. There was a little bit of extra fabric at my lower back but I just folded it under the stretchy back panel. The straps are adjustable and oh my does it ever look good with a blazer!

Kim's Make It Easy Romper Review: This might be my favourite Sho Sho product EVER!!! The material is that amazing brushed, super soft and stretchy material that we love. The leg is nice and comfy, not too tight and the top portion is suuuper stretchy. I love how the waist billows over! The patterns are so pretty and unique and the colours just POP! I am wearing the size small and the fit is amazing. It fits with a tiny bit of room but it's perfect. I would not size down. It's so comfortable, I could wear it ever day!!!

Allison's Make It Easy Romper Review: Hands down, comfiest romper ever! The material is super soft and has a good amount of stretch! It billows a bit less on me, but I still feel so cute! I love the off shoulder look! The white trim doesn't have stretch, while it doesn't feel uncomfortable, I felt compelled to mention! I am wearing an XL and I love how it fits!

Kim's Up Tight Oversized Scrunchie Review: How cute are these! We have had these before and if you have one you can attest its amazingness! The fabric is super soft and of course very stretchy and I love wearing it as an accessory or in your hair with a cute bun!

Kim's Comfort Over Everything Shorts Review: Omg, I need one of every colour in these, seriously. They are sooo comfy, these are the shorts you throw on the moment you want through the door after work and the ones you live in on the weekends! They're so soft, similar to a light sweatpants material. I love the pockets and the rise is nice and high. I am wearing the size small and they fit me perfectly. Not too tight in the bum and the functional drawstrings allows for tightening or loosening so I say these are definitely true to size. One this to note, they are very similar to Paradise Awaits Shorts but they do have a few minor differences. The rise on these ones is about half an inch higher and the inseam is about half an inch longer as well. There is a bit of trim along the pockets which gives a nice look too. Basically, if you love Paradise Awaits, you will love these!!

Kim's Anna Crossbody Bag Review: One word... SOLD. This whole outfit is exceptional! It's got that trendy athleisure look that I'm loving right now! The bag can be worn across your chest or around your waist. It's got a buckle closure and zipper compartments. It's got a nylon feel and is the perfect size!

Allison's Comfort Over Everything Shorts Review: These shorts are perfect! They have a high rise and giant pockets - what more can I ask for? The elastic waistband and drawstring are super comfortable - I literally want to just live in them! The fabric and feel are the same as the Paradise Awaits Shorts with a slightly longer rise and inseam in these ones! You will barely be able to notice the difference though. I am forever a sucker for anything Olive and Burgundy and will certainly be adding these to my cart! I am wearing an XL and I love this fit!

Allison's Anna Crossbody Bag Review: I love me a crossbody bag! It is the perfect piece to live your best life hands free while on the go! This bag is compact but can carry quite a bit because of its multiple compartments! Easy to wear at your waist or as a crossbody as well! Allison's Running Errands Crops Review: Ooh these crops are everything! I love love love the colours! They sit quite high on me, above the bellybutton, and have a good amount of stretch! It has mesh detailing down the side and a pocket! I always prefer my leggings with a pocket to pop my phone into! I am wearing an XL and I love this fit!

Allison's Be Kind Tank Review: I can't be the only one anxiously awaiting for this top to launch, right?! This Vanilla Bay top is super soft and comfortable. I love this graphic and the message that goes along with it! It is the perfect summer tee and I am in love! I am wearing an XL and this is the size I will be buying!

Kim's Running Errands Crops Review: I love the crops!!! They're a thicker poly/elastane blend and are night and high waisted. I would feel totally comfortable pairing these with just a sports bra. The mesh detailing is super cute and the pockets are amazing! They are mesh so you can see what's in the pockets. The all around stretch is great, the pink is a tiny bit sheer so wear appropriate un**es with those. I am wearing the size S and they are the perfect fit. Nice and fitted in the legs, not too tight in the tummy. Plus the price is right!!

Kim's Be Kind Tank Review: This is the most amazing tank ❤️ This is a collab we did with Vanilla Bay so we made sure every aspect is perfect. The material is that amazingly soft and stretchy Vanilla Bay material that we all love, the same feel as Bad Moms Tank, so you know you're going to fall in love! It's slightly oversized in the sense that the short sleeve is longer than the typical sleeve and the body is super comfortable and slightly oversized. The material is so soft and offers a bit of stretch. It's got that oh so flattering rounded hemline and drapes so naturally. I am wearing the size S and it's a perfect slightly oversized fit. Kim's Skyfall Top Review: Okay, this top is 95% modal which means it's SOOO SOFT! It has a similar feel to our P&Z Classics and is sooo stretchy. I love the flattering relaxed fit too. The added fabric allows for such versatility while wearing it. It can be knotted, tucked into your jeans, or easily worn on its own. It's so comfortable and despite it being slightly oversized, it's beyond flattering! I am wearing the size S and it's the perfect fit.

Kim's Rewrite the Stars Backpack Review: I love the size of this backpack. It's smaller than the journey but big enough to hold a whole whack of stuff. It's got a canvas-like feel to the fabric and has tons of inner and outer compartments. The straps are adjustable and every compartment has a zipper closure so you know none of your things will fall out.

Lyvia's Skyfall Top Review: Holy cow, this top is so soft, I am in love! I love the fit of this top. It's oversized so it's really comfortable but it doesn't look messy. This is the perfect top to wear with jeans, capris or leggings as it's nice and long. I am wearing the size S and it fits in a nice relaxed way. You could size down for a more fitted look if your smaller size is available.

Nathan's Vintage Mickey & Pluto Tee Review: Hi everyone! I’m Nathan, Director of Product at Silver Icing. I’m wearing a medium in this t-shirt and it feels snug but not restrictive. For those of you who want a looser fit, you’ll want to go with a size large. I love the design and textured grey melange which matches nicely with a pair of either dark or faded denim for a casual yet put-together look. The fabric feels great which can be hard to find in a t-shirt. Fun and comfortable, I want more than one!

Caleb's Vintage Nintendo Tee Review: Hi there! This tee is giving me so many nostalgic feels! You have to feel it to understand the amazing comfort this tee offers. It feels like I've worn it for years. The cotton is so soft and the all around fit is great. My true size is small which is what I'm wearing here. Of course with tees like these, you could size up for a more comfortable fit.

Kim's Vintage Marvel Tee Review: YESSS, I freaking love Marvel!!!!!!! Hands down one of my favourite tees we've had. The material feels nice and worn in, like your comfy go-to tee you wear every night! I sized up to a medium for a slightly comfier fit. I size up in t-shirts because I want them to be nice and cozy. The material is the same, super soft and nice and lightweight, functional drawstring, kangaroo pocket and a nice hood! What I love most about this style is the banded hemline and the full coverage. Your bra straps and hidden perfectly and you're sure to be comfy all day long! I am wearing my true size small and this is the size I will be buying!

Kim's Discovery Belt Bag Review: I had serious FOMO missing out on the last belt/crossbody style bag like this so trust me when I say I will not be missing this one! I love this style not to mention these super cute prints! The strap is adjustable and there are 4 separate compartments ensuring everything has a spot! This bag can be worn around your waist or across your body!

Allison's Hoodwinked Casual Tank Review: Okay, I am obsessed! I absolutely love the Hoodwinked dress and this tank is just as amazing!! I love the thicker band at the bottom and the kangaroo pocket!! The fit and fabric feels the same as the dress we know and love! I am wearing an XL and I love this fit!

Nicole's Hoodwinked Casual Tank Review: Not gonna lie, I never would've picked one of these babies up for myself (I just didn't think I was cool enough to pull it off) but man was I pleasantly surprised! These are amazing and look incredible across the board. SO stylish, comfy and with just enough edge. I'm wearing a size S and the fit was PERFECT.

Allison's Halter of Fame Top Review: Oh, I just love this style of top! Always just so flattering! The cute ruffles are the neckline is just the perfect touch! There is no closure for the halter as the neckline is stretchy! I love how this top is dressier, but I feel so comfortable as it has a wonderful flowy fit! I am wearing an XL and I love the way it fits!

Lyvia's Feel the Moment Earrings Review: I love the lightweight feel to these earrings! They're large enough to make a statement but are totally fine for all day wear! They're made from mixed metals and are nickel free & lead compliant. They have a simple hook style closure which makes them nice and easy to wear! No backings are required!

Lyvia's Halter of Fame Top Review: I can't get over how amazing I feel in this halter top! It's so silky and flowy but my favourite part is the neckline! It's nice and stretchy but not restricting at all. I also love it because the armhole covers your underarm very well. You're not hanging out like some halter tops I've worn. You can easily wear any kind of strapless bra and you're sure to be covered. The body is super flowy so for that reason I feel like if you're in between sizes, you can size down. I am in the size S but feel the XS would have also fit if I wanted a more fitted look!

Kim's Blonde Tank 2.0 Review: First off, this is my favourite style tank ever! I have my original Blonde Crew Neck Tank from a couple years ago and this feels very similar. The only difference being the armhole was raised a bit on this new 2.0 version so it doesn't sit as low. The material is super soft and lightweight and I love the fact that it's longer than your average tank. I am wearing the size S/M and it's the perfect flowy fit.

Kim's Fiercest Competitor Denim Review: 3 cheers for Judy Blue! My goodness, these literally don't even feel like jeans. They're so stretchy and soft, I can't get over it! I love the mid to high rise, the silky leopard patchwork (which is also super stretchy), the straight leg, everything is perfect! I am wearing the size 5 here and they fit great with room. Stick with the typical size you wear in Judy Blue for these!

Nicole's Brunette Tank 2.0 Review: Great summer staple! I especially love the length (it's a smidge longer than other tanks). It gives me the option to tie it up in a front or side knot (I'm a sucker for a cute knot) and wear it with some jeans and flats for a casual outfit or all by itself as a bathing suit cover-up at the beach. I'm wearing a size S/M and love the fit and material! Super lightweight and soft.

Nicole's Fiercest Competitor Denim Review: Sweet mother of comfort! I'm wearing a size 5 and could honestly probably sleep in these if I wanted. They hug in all the right places and have enough stretch to keep a sister comfortable even after a big lunch (or second lunch if you're like me). You DEFINITELY need these in your closet. Oh, and how cute is the pop of leopard?! The patchwork itself is super stretchy too!

Allison's Brunette Tank 2.0 Review: This tank is simply perfect! I am already envisioning myself in this outfit with a moto jacket! I love that it is long enough to knot, but it's not too long! The fit is amazing, not too tight and just flows perfectly! I am wearing an L/XL and I love this fit!

Nicole's Be the Good Tank Review: Hi everyone! My name is Nicole and I'm a web developer here at Silver Icing! I was born in El Salvador, raised in Atlanta, GA and now thriving in Vancouver. This is the same AMAZING material as our Good Moms Tee & tank, the Tired as a Mother Tee... all of those amazing Vanilla Bay top you guys love the material of! Silky, soft and super stretchy! The message is just as amazing as the material though. I am wearing the size small in this tank and this is the size I will buy. It's not clingy, it has enough room in the tummy and since it's super stretchy, I will be sticking true to size.
