Jespersen Solvang Tree Farm - Christmas Trees Gearing up for the 2023 season! Formerly known as Jespersen Solvang Strawberry Farm, the Jespersen Farm has operated as a family business for over 30 years.

The strawberries were phased out in 2004 out and replaced with Christmas trees. We plant new trees every year, with the goal of providing our faithful tree customers a selection of trees to choose from year after year. We primarily grow Douglas fir, but aim to have a selection of specialty trees like Grand Fir, Concolor Fir, Noble, and Balsam. There are hundreds of trees to choose from, from 3 ft

- 14 ft' tall. The fire is always burning, and guests can hunt for a tree, enjoy a hot beverage and a scavenger hunt. Check our page for answers to your commonly asked questions before you head out. It's a Christmas season adventure with your family! See you in the field!

Attention tree cutters...

We are gearing up for another tree season, and look forward to seeing our loyal customers in the tree patch.

In an effort to better serve families, we will be changing things up a bit this year and will be OPEN WEEKENDS ONLY.

We will post some additional information in the next week or so, but here are a few highlights:

🌲Open Saturdays and Sundays only, until supplies last (we anticipate that the 14th will be our last day).

🌲No pre-flagging trees this year. Sorry, it's too difficult to manage.

🌲We have Douglas fir (traditional Christmas trees), and a very small selection of grand fir, concolor and balsam fir. Yes, we have some BIG trees too.

🌲We will be increasing our prices from last year. We haven't done this in years, but are making this change to be more consistent with the market for fresh cut trees. More details soon.

🌲To keep pace with the volume of visitors, we are switching up how we do things at the farm too. Please check for updates before you come, and signs when you arrive.

Here are some answers to your most-asked questions for 2024.

Yes, we anticipate another short season. Here's why... we have GROWN! Our customer demand consistently outweighs our supply. To make sure that we can open every year, we have to limit how many trees leave the farm each season.

We understand that closing early can be frustrating, and commit to giving you as much notice as possible. Please check this page before planning your trip if it is after December 8th!

Open seasonally, throughout December. Formerly known as Jespersen Solvang Strawberries, the Jespersen Farm has operated as a family business for over 30 years. The strawberries have been phased out and replaced with Christmas trees and we look forward to our 8th Christmas season! There are hundreds of trees to choose from, from 3 ft - 14 ft' tall. Saws are provided for folks that want to cut their own tree, and a selection of ready-cut-trees are available for those that may not be interested in hunting for a tree. The fire is lit and the cocoa is hot, every day until December 21. Join us for a hayride on Saturday’s or Sunday’s. 'Like' our page. Tell your friends.
