Lake and Oak is ethically sourced and produced. They only source from suppliers that are certified by the Ethical Tea Partnership that ensures proper wages and work environments for producers.
They offer teas with or without caffeine. They source 97% organic ingredients that include adaptogens, antioxidants, and inflammation soothers. Their pyramid tea bags are made of a plant-based mesh called Soilon, that is 100% biodegradable, compostable, and free of petroleum based products.
JusTea is a partnership between families - creating the first farmer-direct tea from Kenya to Canada. Over 80% of the employees are women and they support hundreds of farmers in their community with new opportunities for employment and better pay. It is 100% Fair Trade, 100% pesticide and chemical free soil, and processed in small batches. Their packaging is also 100% recyclable and compostable.
