The Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Systems Installation Technician. In this role, you will be the face of eyeTech Solutions, responsible for the end-to-end installation and maintenance of security infrastructure while ensuring our clients feel confident using their new systems.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Installation: Handle prewiring, mounting, programming, and commissioning for CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, Audio/Video and other Low Voltage systems.
System Design: Layout and configure systems according to specific customer needs and site requirements.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues for both wired and wireless security systems, CCTV, and Other systems.
Client Training: Provide professional, clear instructions to clients on system operation and respond to technical inquiries.
Field Management: Manage your daily schedule effectively, ensuring timely arrival at service calls and maintaining accurate digital paperwork.
What We’re Looking For
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Windows software and IP-based systems.
Hands-on Skills: Comfortable using power tools (drilling/cutting through various materials) and working in field environments.
Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and a "non-confrontational," customer-first attitude.
Independence: Ability to work effectively on your own while adhering to all safety standards and national codes.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Access to reliable transportation.
High regard for safety for yourself and subcontractors.
Schedule & Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday (No weekends).
