Exchange on Germain Designer Consignment for Men & Women. Fashion to feast on! What is accepted? Crew/Banana Republic to Prada/Gucci etc.

Who we are:
A Mid-High end designer consignment shop, selling items for a fraction of their original selling price. The Process:
Consignors at Exchange on Germain are invited to bring 1-20 pieces of new or gently used items of mid to high end fashion brands. Accepted items are priced at the discretion of Exchange on Germain and is based on brand, the age of the garment, style and condition.

Items are available for sale for 3 months, and will be reduced throughout that period to ensure the best opportunity for sale. When the item is sold, consignors will receive 40% of the sale which may be presented in cash/cheque or applied as a store credit. Exchange on Germain has explicit interest in mid to high end fashion brands that range from J. Items will only be accepted if freshly laundered, seasonal appropriate and free of any imperfections such as: tears, frayed material, stains, missing components etc.- regardless of brand. To submit items for consignment you may do so between 10 am-5 pm Tuesday to Friday. We do not and will not accept items on Saturday. When Accepted:
Once your items have been priced, you will receive an email informing you of the current sale price and the date of expiration, as well as any items that were not accepted during the pricing process. All items priced will remain on the sales floor for 3 months. If an item is not sold within that period, it will be pulled from the sales floor. At that point you will be notified via e-mail to pick the remainder of your pieces up within 10 business days. All items left after 10 days will be donated to a charity of our choice. Exchange on Germain does retain the right to adjust sale periods based on seasonal changes and emerging trends. In the event of early expiration of your items, you as the consignor will always be contacted by the email provided.


***Please be advised, each piece received with the intention of consigning to our store, is researched individually for the purpose of pricing. With more obscure or unique pieces means that certain items may take longer to find a legitimate source. The processing period can and will reflect this.***

Consignor Payments
Payments are available for merchandise one month after date of sale, clients will be paid by cheque, or cash. Clients are also able to apply their available funds as a store credit. Please note that funds available on client accounts will not expire or depreciate in value.

Store Location Closing Sale
To all our valued consignors and customers, we are excited to announce that Exchange On Germain has sold its building and we will be closing this location the end of January, 2018.
Where will we go? Who knows at this point, stay tuned. But in the meantime, come in for some great mark-downs and the last chance to get that item you have been coveting.

We will be working hard to sell our remaining consignment until the final day of sales, Saturday, January 20th. To all of our customers thank you for your business and please come in to the store and enjoy a few more weeks of designer consignment shopping in Uptown Saint John.

For those consignors who “Do Not” send their items to donation we will be scheduling pick-ups for the week of January 22nd to January 27th. In the meantime we ask for your patience as our focus for the next few weeks will be to sell as many of your items as we can. We will then organize remaining consignment for pick up. Please contact us, either by email at [email protected] or phone 506-642-9803, to help us make the best possible arrangements for you. Advance notice will be required so that we may provide optimum service to all of our valued consignors.

Store Hours:

Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

The final balances on accounts will be settled via e-transfers for your convenience. This will be done during the first week of February.
