Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Niagara. After the winter blast over the weekend a mid-week thaw is forecasted, with the possibility of snow and freezing rain through the night into Wednesday, followed by the chance of 10-15mm of rain tomorrow once the temperature rises. If they can do so safely, residents can help by clearing storm grates, drains and catch basins fronting their property.
