The leaves are changing colours, there is a chill in the air and we are thinking about our fall menu changes!!

Comfort. Hardy. Cozy.

The cassoulet will make a come back and I’m rooting for a French onion soup.

We have a fun pop up coming your way August 18th!!

Tony’s cousin is one of the coolest people l know and she has a flower farm! I have had the amazing opportunity to attend one of her workshops and she brings the magic and sunshine! We are so excited to host Jenni here!!

Jenni Sustrate-Mills joins us at Wildroots for a fun night out filled with flowers, delicious food and great company.
Chef Tony will be preparing a beautiful three course dinner using ingredients from the farmers market and Jenni will be bringing a stunning bloom bar with flowers from her garden just west of the city. During dinner you will have the chance to make a bouquet to take home using Jenni’s stunning flowers!

Drinks are available for purchase as an additional cost.
Doors open at 5:30. Dinner to begin at 6pm.

Thursday Nights

A few months ago I asked on my stories about what a vibrant downtown meant to you! I got over 100 answers from everyone. I really feel like the St Albert Downtown Core listened to what you had to say. The The Arden Theatre put on their free Plaza Series Concert every Thursday and in return so many businesses started to stay open late! It feels so good downtown Thursday evenings! We have had our Patios full of people eating amazing BBQ, the city hall plaza has been full of people bringing their own lawn chairs to listen to music and snack on yummy treats from other downtown restaurants and we have had guests come in and say “wow I just checked out that store and they are soo cool.”

We are so proud of our downtown and you should for sure come check it out one Thursday in August. You won’t be disappointed!! (Next week, there is a Art Walk starting at the Art Gallery of St Albert )

I’ve been having so much fun slinging cocktails and Endeavour Brewing Company & Coffee Roasters beers and Tony Tipping and the kitchen crew have been crushing it with the BBQ!!! Our BBQ platter is soo much food!! It’s a steal of a deal!

Fried Mozzarella with sweet and sour arrabiata

Shotgun shells- pork stuffed cannelloni wrapped in bacon and BBQ glazed

Pickled Beet salad with whipped ricotta, orange and pumpkin seed

Smoked Onion Dip with chips

Tater tot Supreme with bruschetta, chives, sourcream

Wings- Gochujang , salt and pepper, OR honey garlic)

Pulled pork sandwich, cheddar on ciabatta with BBQ sauce and dill slaw with chips

Smash Burger - with lettuce, onion, tomato, burger sauce, cheese and chips on the side

13 years ago I threw a huge party very very last minute because I wanted an excuse to invite over. Then after drinking, laughing, watching fireworks all night he kissed me our first kiss. Anyways, we are spending July 1st together as a family but we look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday, or Thursday! Thursday we are open for dinner!

The begins its plaza series July 2nd and we decided to join in the downtown fun! Pop by for some BBQ then head to the Arden for a free concert every Thursday evening!

The .albert also have their art gallery walk the first Thursday of the month!! Come downtown to experience our amazing downtown!!

We will have a happy hour from 4-5pm!
