It's been a busy month with my move to Riverview NB that I haven't had time for much sea glass work. So yesterday I unpacked my sea glass and joined Craft Night at the Riverview Lions Club with the Greater Moncton Craft Club. What a wonderful evening with other crafting enthusiasts. Here is my project from last night which I will be offering in a new contest to be announced this week. Stay tuned.....

One of my students told me that I broke all of “the rules” by mixing larger gauge wire with smaller sea glass finds. My response: who knew there were rules but sometimes rules are meant to be broken.

A big shout out to my amazing husband who supported me in every way at the Saint John Seaglass Festival last week. When I was teaching sea glass art classes or giving a keynote session, he was always there. Ted spent hours talking sea glass with young and old, using our glass glass rarity display to educate visitors. Of course he takes credit for all the great finds 😆 which is okay because he is my rock!

What a great time at the Saint John Seaglass Festival last week. I especially liked leading a great class of sea glass enthusiasts learning to do sea glass art for the first time.

Stay tuned: I be doing classes in Moncton in the fall. Message me if you want to join.
