That's right! Our side hit contest is back! We'll be doing a challenge every week until the hill closes. Men's and women's categories, the winner each week will get a point. The two with the most points at the end will win the prize!

We'll also be giving away a small prize every week to the winner of each challenge.

Here's a great little story that happened recently in the shop. This couple came in looking at a binding upgrade (it was very needed as you can see) and was also considering a board.

While thinking long and hard if they should spend the money, a patron of .heli was in the store. Browsing around and picked up a couple things. He looked at me and said they are really thinking about that gear, can you ring it up? I said sure and with a big smile on his face and a giggle he tapped and walked out of the store before they knew what happened.

One of the raddest things I've seen in all my years in a shop. The couple was flabbergasted and in shock. The girl even ran out of the store to try and find him to say thank you but he had disappeared into the night...

Things like this dam near being a tear to my eye. So wherever you are, thank you bat-man for making this couples shred trip the most memorable 🫡

I guess we should let you know we have these as well. The new limited and boards in shop! We demo'd a couple last week and give em the thumbs up 👍🏻 fun playful and poppy boards, great on the side hits, easy to butter and still enough jam to straight line and lay trenches.

Come take a look and grab one before they disappear! These will definitely be collector boards down the road.

Prizes and good ol boardin! We will also be putting on a special one day “Road to S-Games”. Come to the shop anytime after opening to pick up the challenge list. Teams of three and you have all day to complete as many challenges and rack up points. The winning team will receive 3 x $100 gift certificates to the shop!! Along with some other prizes.

I haven’t made any posts really during the last couple weeks. Just watching everything from everywhere else flood in was hard enough. After hearing of my friend Jeff’s passing I immediately knew a way I could help pay tribute to such a gem of a human. Truly one of the best. So I waited until I could make this happen to show my appreciation for Jeff.

I’m not some fancy dancy wordsmith so I’ll just say I’m going to miss you.

Thanks for dropping in and supporting your local snowboard shop. Travis even refused any discount. Wanted to pay full pop even though I tried. Appreciate riders who really care about local shops!

Stoked to see how is shaping up with snow in the forecast! And thank you natty select for choosing revelstoke to hold the event. Really helps pump up the snowboard scene here!
