I am making this post to inform everyone that I have made a decision that I hate having to do and it sadness me which will most definitely offend a few customers but as of today I will no longer accept outside apparel other than what I offer. Most of you know I will accommodate and always do my best and if I don't have the apparel in your style I encourage you to bring it in but some customers are now taking that for granted and it's getting out of control.
Some are coming in with the same t-shirts or styles that I carry and expect me to add there design to it. And usually the image they want takes me hours to clean up and make it presentable for a price of $10.00 just so they can save money. I get it times are difficult right now and we have to save money where we can but when I have to spend hours to clean up a image, use my ink, supplies and hydro to get that image on your apparel I am the one working for nothing. And that my friends makes it difficult to pay my bills.
A T-shirt can be worn over and over again so charging $25.00 is not a outrageous price range especially when it's custom made to what you want.
An outing at a restaurant or take out cost $20.00 plus dollars one time luxury.
I've had quite a few customers come in with clothing worn, covered in dog hair, or the quality is so bad that the image will not adhere to the material and then they get upset with me or expect me to redo free of cost or expect me to charge them same pricing that is offered on TEMU. I cannot compete with that business and it's sad that a company that is not local and out of country is taking over small business and we are going under because of it.
Supporting local is so important not only to me but for our beautiful country we live in. The more you support the more we can offer and give back it's a win win situation for all the little businesses around us that offer great quality and unique items.
Sorry I don't mean to offend anyone but I simply cannot keep running my little business and continue to do what I love with that kind of pay. I do believe my efforts and time are worth more than $10.00 and I hope everyone understand my decision on this.
