Just so you know that The Boss was serious about offering one copy of Pandemic Legacy Season 2 for the price of a box of Timbits and a large steep tea with milk.

We can't say "Watch for our next tea and Timbits" sale but we can confirm that when The Boss is in a mood to clean and purge things can get unpredictable.

Here at ComicReaders Downtown, Magic: The Gathering Marvel Super Heroes releases on Friday, June 19, 2026. The product is ready for the 10am opening. Right now the goods are being hidden by some non-Magic, non-Marvel superhero related mascots.

I said, "What the f, Julian?"
And Julian said, "I'm not drawing superheroes."

History lesson: When ComicReaders' Chad was renovating his basement some of his geek items ended up in the store's inventory room for storage. Some items apparently never made it back to the house.

The boss is organizing and cleaning the inventory room and that means deals and sales and fun discoveries.

First up: Get a free tin of Monster Bandages when you make a purchase (for as long as supplies last). The bandages might be dried out inside but the tin is still sweet.

History lesson: There was a glorious few years when the Canadian and US dollar were par or almost par. During that time we'd order from an American company called Accoutrements. They carried novelty bandages, novelty lip balm like dill pickle and cotton candy, bacon soap, bacon toothpaste (yes, we sold toothpaste), tonnes of crazy candy, and even the hopefully infamous talking dill pickle, and the Big Squirrel Head squirrel feeder.

The cost of all these things went up as the Canadian dollar declined and it eventually became too expensive so we shuttered the line.

If you are a Magic: The Gathering fan and are eagerly anticipating the release of Marvel Superheroes, you may have heard Wizards of the Coast announce delays in select regions.

For North America, Wizards of the Coast has said: "Bundles, Commander decks, and Jumpstart Boosters will be delayed. Collector's Edition Commander decks are expected after the set's release."

I'm writing today to say that as of June 15, ComicReaders Downtown has received the following: Pre-release Packs, Play Boosters, Jumpstart Boosters, Collectors Boosters, Beginner Boxes, Draft Nights, and most of our Commander Decks. These items are available for purchase starting Friday, June 19, 2026. (Pre-release packs are for pre-release events that are scheduled for June 19, 20 and 21.)

Bundles and Collector's Edition Commander Decks have NOT arrived. We have paid for these items so they will arrive but we're not quite sure when. We'll post updates on our page as more product arrives.

(Gift Bundles have a later release date and shouldn't be affected.)

Somebody done messed up the Pop vinyl orders. ComicReaders Downtown has received 20 copies of Silent Hill 2 Pyramid Head but we've turned our mistake into a benefit for you.

ComicReaders Downtown engineers have built a pyramid of Pyramid Heads. This is also a pyramid of prices! Prices INCREASE the LOWER the pyramid gets so the sooner you get in to claim your Pyramid Head the better!

Ben 10 #2 releases on June 10, 2026 at both ComicReaders locations in Regina. We also received the much asked about issue #1. Ben 10 #1 2nd printing is also available starting June 10.

The artist for this Ben 10 comic series is Robert Carey. Previous credits include The Outsiders for DC Comics, Aliens: Resistance for Dark Horse Comics, James Bond 007 for Dynamite Comics, and "On the Other Side of the Bridge", which was written by ComicReaders' very own Chad Boudreau.
